You realize that Adam was punished because he disobyed and ate, not just because he ate of the tree, right?

God gave Adam everythign and put one little condition, don't eat of the tree or you will die.

Adam ate, God punished him with mortality.

    Adam died.

Adam's free will was he did what he did even KNOWING the consequences.

God's omniscience was knowing the outcome of whichever decision Adam could have made.

So then it's useless to me?

Not at all, unless you want it to be.

    We can CHOOSE!

    Isn't that a good thing?

God's omniscience was knowing the outcome of whichever decision Adam could have made.

So then God had to know Adam would choose to sin. God wouldn't know the outcome would be Adam eating unless Adam chose to ate. Therefore Adam was required to sin.

Not at all, unless you want it to be.

    We can CHOOSE!

    Apparently not.

    Oh, yes, we can choose.

I choose to accept the Bible's account of who, what, how, and why.

You choose not to do so.

The point is that God knows ALL the outcomes of every decision.

God knew that if Adam ate, he woudl go down this path.

If he didn't, he would go down that path.

If he decided to smack Eve in the butt and say, Hey baby, forget the apple, how about a Banana ? * cue genesis 70's porn music*. he would go down a different path.

    Etc.

    If, if, if ...

I'll bet Adam cursed himself many a time!

The Yahweh of J is the most anthropomorphic, and human, of the whole OT. He takes a walk in the afternoon to enjoy the cool air, he comes down from heaven to witness the building of the tower, he regrets his decisions, he smells the delicious aroma of Noah's sacrifice, etc.

Sounds a little like Jacob from "Lost".

    Hmmm....

    Oh, yes, we can choose.

That has exactly zero to do with the God's lack of omniscience.

The point is that God knows ALL the outcomes of every decision.

Then that's not omniscience. Problem solved.

How is God KNOWING all possibel outcomes or every decision NOT being all knowing ??
