Here's another verse you won't see deliberated over in the "kingdom halls".

    Hebrews 13:8 (New International Version)

8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

    Blessings,

    Stephen

You've quoted a few, but it would be my opinion that almost any scripture pertaining to belief in Jesus is being ignored by the WTS.

Well, I wouldn't go that far, verses that quote Jesus saying to honor the father and to worship the father are quote quite a bit, for obvious reasons.

The thing is, the JW's have actaully MORE issues against the HS than Jesus, the whole "impersonal" force thing, as if anything that is God by nature can be impersonal.

    From Luke:

14 When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. 15 And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.”

17 After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among you. 18 For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”

19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you. 21 But the hand of him who is going to betray me is with mine on the table. 22 The Son of Man will go as it has been decreed, but woe to that man who betrays him.” 23 They began to question among themselves which of them it might be who would do this.

Pay special attention to the fact that, after the bread and wine, Jesus says to behold that hand of the betryer is with his hand at the table.

Yep, Judas partook of the Lord's Supper.

Its the 'belief in Jesus' part that doesn't fit into the JW teachings and mold. When those scriptures are quoted to them at the door, it goes right over their heads, while they have a blank stare on their face, hoping to change the subject. They have a lot of Bible confidence, but when it comes to 'the belief in Jesus' ones, they haven't a clue.

Remember, this was my personal observation while in, a long time Pioneer.
