I need to ask....what does Leviticus 21:1-3 (referring to a high priest),mean when it says "and for his sister, a virgin who is close to him, who has not become a man's, for her he may defile himself"?

Also....Leviticus 20:20,21. The couples are condemned to die childless....what if a pregnancy occured. What happens to the child?

Deuteronomy 21:10-15 sanctions women taken as booty, raped and either kept or sent on their merry way after either not performing up to standards, or the man becoming bored with his sex toy.

Just making a point about people's fascinations and superstitions. The Cross got built up into this Icon of mystical proportions by followers claiming to be the Real Deal, and yet look at history and the Imperialistic nature of the groups making claim to the Trinitarian Dogma and all of its trappings.

My god look at what happened to the indigenous peoples unfortunate enough to have these marading believers march through their lands.

Stephen and DD are as drunk on religion as any JW we ever knew gaga-eyed over the GB.

But hey, there is hope. The light bulb goes on for anyone as myth and superstition give way to better purposes.

Very true, the symbol of the cross got perverted from its original meaning, of course the only ones to be blamed for what people do are people, period.

I won't debate the trinitarian doctrine because, well, I don't feel it is a NEEDED doctrine and all it does is TRY to explain the nature of God, jesus and the HS and their inter-relationship.

Do I believe Jesus is God? Of course, he was begotten of God, not created, what else can he be?

The HS is God's spirit so it is also God, of course and it is also referred to as Jesus spirit, so it is also, obviosuly Jesus.

How is that possible?

Easy, " For man it is not possible, for God all is possible".

Does that mean there is a "godhead" and a trinitarian God? Meh, words and terms and titles to try to understand God?
