When I ask my JW friend questions it usually isn't long before I get the response "I need to do some research and let you know".
That means he is going to search the WT CD-ROM and regurgitate whatever it says in a day or two.

TTWSYF This is a very interesting blog. It is quite informative and highly entertaining to boot. I would like to make a small request that after scripture is quoted, could we please point out why the JWs would ignore it.

I think many of the scriptures speak for themselves, but point taken, I will point out what JWs are missing in them. Here's the last few I made.
13 Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?"
14 God said to Moses, "I am who I am . [a] This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.' "
Footnotes:Moses asked a simple question, "God what is your name, who shall I tell the people sent me?" If the divine name is of paramount importance as JWs would have us believe then God surely would have mentioned it right there and then?
As it is He didn't say that at all. What He did say makes it clear, God is far beyond the confines of a name. "I am who I am" or "I will be what I will be" says so much about the person of God. Indeed, God has numerous names and titles in the bible. Getting hung up on the name "Jehovah" is a red herring, a diversion and dead end.
5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?
Another clear exhortation to test ourselves and see if we are in THE faith.
There are many but what is the test? That "Christ Jesus is in you" i.e. lives within the believer John 14:15-30
JWs do not believe that, "it is only for the 144, 000" they say. Looks like they fail the test by their own admission :(
4 Even though I walk

they comfort me.
JWS fear everything, especially evil. Demonic powers are elevated to a lofty grandeur.
JWs are calling on the wrong name Luke 10:17, Matthew 7:22, Mark 9:38, Philippians 2:9-10
9 Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings.
This is not only the strange biblical teachings that started with Russell but also the history of weird non-biblical things he taught and the WT continue to this day.
31 But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, 32 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the God of the dead but of the living."
Jesus tells us Abraham , Isaac and Jacob are alive and well, for example just like Moses and Elijah Matthew 17:3 and everyone else who is "away form the body" and believes 2 Corinthians 5:7-9 , Hebrews 11, Hebrews 12:1
4 By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.
Abel is dead but still speaks, just like Moses and Elijah, who were long dead but found alive and well in Matthew 17.
25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; 26 and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
If you believe in Jesus, you will die but live.
16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
A cornerstone of the WT false teaching is the bible and what it says is only for the 144, 000. This verse shows clearly there is NO two class Christian system, only "one flock and one shepherd."
Those who read the New Testament can easily see the "little flock" refers to the Jewish believers and the "big flock" the Gentile believers Romans 1:16, Romans 9:24, Romans 10:12
Notice their will is "one shepherd". God is called the shepherd in the OT and Jesus the same in the NT.
Genesis 49:24, Psalm 23:1, Psalm 80:1, John 10:11, 1 Peter 2:25 , Revelation 7:17 Draw your own conclusions :)

So Stephen, why does the Trinity version of god like to appear to Catholics as a face on a burned Tortilla but in your Church he appears as a pulsating crotch on an old guy and as Miracle Rice Crispy's. How come the Fundamentalists never get the Tortilla version.

Was the Tortilla question to difficult, I'm sorry, maybe someone can pose a Soft-ball question.
I just thought with Perry and Stephen claiming that the Trinity god was inside them then theological and philosophical questions would be easy to answer. I guess its like Rufus says, don't expect the Trinity god to make the Trinity believer perfect...or have all of the answers.
Maybe just maybe- Is it kind of like the Catholics with Saint Christopher, remember you put the little guy on the Dashboard but once you got over 45 mph he bailed and you were on your own.
Why O why does the Trinity god refuse to appear to Fundamentalists in the Tortilla....I guess I will never know...sigh.
