Well to study psychiatry I would have to be a medical Dr which I am not.
I'm not a psychologist either for that matter. Or a social worker although my training is closest to social work.
The accurate designation is Social Service Worker with a BA in Applied Social Science.
The first trained me to counsel individuals. The second to counsel groups. I've done both but much prefer to do the individual counseling.
I HAVE taken college and university courses in Psychology, Sociology, Religion, Social Service, Medical Ethics, and Research Methods.
In those disciplines I have studied Human Sexuality, Death and Dying, Adolescence, Aging, Family Dynamics, Group Dynamics, Counseling Methods, Human Relations, Communication, Abnormal Psychology, Human Development, Social Problems, Legal Information, Medical Information, Family Problems, Interpersonal and Group Dynamics, Applied Social Science Approaches to Social Problems, Adolescent Behavior in Urban Areas, Leadership and Group Development, Personal Values and Social Problems, Principles and Practices of Counseling, Sexuality and Human Relations, Cross-Cultural Human Relations, Biomedical Ethics, Emotional Development, Religion and Contemporary Psychic Experience
and many others.
Despite what the Watchtower says comparing what you learn in the pages of WT literature with a college education is like comparing adding 1 + 1 with algebra and functions
