I get the gist of your story, minus the gory details! I've seen plenty of bad examples that almost ruined MY faith

You know what Mad. That is insulting. You asked for my story as some sort of proof of my legitimacy here as a mod on JWN. Then when you get the "gist" of it you don't want to read it because it might hurt your sensibilities?

I lived it. I posted it. Many people here have read it and cried for the little girl that I was.

The very least you can do is take some time to read it.

That covers just the first 24 years. It doesn't go into the sexual and emotional abuse by my husband who was an elder. It doesn't go into how I put up with it until I was suicidal. After 15 years of marriage I left but that isn't in there either.
