PS- UnbroterDan; if I was foolish enough to leave one of my young kids alone with an adult, and they were molested- I would, of course, make SURE that he/she would receive justice (yes, hopefully thru the police and court- that puts the kid thru your Hellfire), but would NOT want all to know my kid was molested; isn't that something they would be ashamed of, or embarrased of?
Never happened, so I can only guess.

Well Mad I am an authority. They do protect the sexual abusers.
Molesters makes it sound so benign. They do more than molest. Some kids get raped. That is a hell of a lot more than a molest so lets call sexual abuse what it is - the sexual abuse of a child whose innocence, and trust is shattered beyond repair if they don't get the help they need.
By not going to the police they are also not going to get counseling so the victim is screwed again (colorful metaphor intended)

clearly you are not reading some of my posts so I will post a little larger for you
HIDING the abuse is what make the victim feels ashamed. By HIDING it you make it appear as if they are dirty, soiled, contaminated, and damaged.
And by HIDING it you are preventing them from getting the counselign they need to recover from it. You send the wrong message to the victim. HIDING it only makes it worse.

So all the parents of the kids that were molested were foolish,huh? Nice.
It's interesting, though, to hear from the perspective of someone that supports the WTS policy of protecting child abusers. I guess you can read MadJW's posts and pretty much see how the elders feel about this policy as well.
If the JW's are "God's Organization", whatever that even means now days, their policies would be superior to anything else out there.
The law given to the nation of Israel set them apart from the nations around them ... cleanliness, morality, business dealings, dealing with crime, whatever ... isn't that what is conveyed by "The Organization"?
Wouldn't you expect Watchtower policy to be superior to worldly governments or false religion if they truly were God's one and only organization, the sole channel of truth?
Watchower policy hurts victims, protects (or has protected) pedophiles (intentionally or not), ruined families, imposed its interpretation on the individual conscience sometimes leading to death, ... it is blasphemy to be guilty of these things and make the claims "The Organization" does about itself.
