she said the same seducing/lying spirit that is misleading the catholic church is misleading me. she has also at various times lumped the catholic church with the protestant church...the churches that believe the same core doctrine of the Christ...so it is her opinion that we are all being misled by a seducing/lying spirit.
AGuest has also said I am lying and pathetic because I show concern for her as a person. THAT bites...but it doesn't change my heart toward her.

I think you need to check that, the oldest COMPLETE manuscripts are dated from the 4th century ( Codex sinaticus and vaticanus), they are in greek and the surving copies do have the greek Ieosus.
Yes, dear PSacto (the greatest of love and peace to you!). "Ieosus." Which translates to "He Zeus" in Latin (which came after)... THEN "Jesus"... in English... in the 1600s. So, my point was there was no "Jesus"... when the writers wrote the NT.

Doesn't that "writing" itself say that the HOLY SPIRIT would lead you... into ALL truth... that the ANOINTING that is IN you would teach you... so that you do not need ANYONE (or anything!)... to be teaching you? Why, then, do you all continue to look at the WRITING... to see if what the SON says is correct... rather than looking at the SON... to see if what the WRITING states is correct?
You guys are doing it backward. Because you rely on PAUL. HE is recorded to have said (and, given the false stylus of the scribes, you don't even know if HE said it, if it was even part of the orignal writing!), "All scriptures are beneficial for...". And so, you search the scriptures to see if what the HOLY SPIRIT says is accurate.
Yet, CHRIST recorded to have said (and the same applies here - how do you know he DID say such a thing - by DOING... WHAT he is recorded to have said):
"You are searching the scriptures... [which] bear witness about ME... yet, you do not WANT to come to ME."
So, you fail to ask the HOLY SPIRIT... if what THE BIBLE says is accurate.
C'mon dear PSacto.... Who are we to follow? Who are we to listen to? Whose voice are we to listen to? Who is our leader? Who is to teach us? Who is to lead us... into ALL truth? The Bible? Paul? Or Christ, the Holy Spirit?
You guys have it backward... even as the Bible itself states. NO where in it are we told to follow the Bible. In fact, we're told to REJECT part of it, that part which puts us back under the OLD Law. NO where in it are we told to follow Paul. Even Paul rejected that notion. NO where in it are we told have more than one Leader, Christ (even Moses said a prophet would be raised up AFTER him and we are to follow THAT one). NO where in it are we told that the sheep are to listen to anyone (after the Prophets) other than the Fine Shepherd. NO where in it are we told that the sheep who make up the Body of Christ are to listen to any other voice than Christ's, the Son of God, the Door, the Word, the Fine Shepherd, the Holy Spirit. I can tell you all day long what Paul... and others have said. You can tell others all day long what "Shelby" said. NONE of that is of any benefit.
And so, I say to you as I have said on MANY occasions - you do NOT have to take my word for it; indeed, you SHOULDN'T. YOU... should ASK... and receive the truth... FOR YOURSELF. But you dear folks continually reject that... even while touting the Bible... which itself says that what you do.
Dearest OUTLAW... the greatest of love and peace to you... and please know the true christians aren't fighting, not at all. We realize that none of us are significant and that while we may or may not agree on a matter (because, perhaps, such has not YET been revealed to us)... the bottom line is that we obey God and Christ... not men... and glorify God and Christ... and not ourselves. We get this, although others do not and/or may forget. We don't forget, however, because we know it isn't about us, at all, but about God, Christ, and those whom they love. So, we speak/share the truth... as Christ, the Holy Spirit directs us... even if/when it's hard the world... and even "Israel" (whom it's often actually harder for)... to hear. Not all will receive us, even those who call themselves "Israel." But that's pretty much always been the case, hasn't it?

The Hebrew "yodh" became the Greek "iota" and when borrowed by the Romans to create their Latin alphabet became the Roman "I." So the name can start with an "I." After many, many years, because the Roman letter "I" was both a vowel and consonant, the scribes of the time (Middle Ages) differentiated the vowel from the consonant by deciding to make the letter "I" the vowel and to give the consonant a little tail, which became the letter "J" while retaining the "Y" sound. Thus,"Iah" is pronounced exactly as "Jah" both with the "Y" sound. The French changed the sound of the letter "J" (y-sounding) to that which it is today for Western Europe and Britain and America. Much of Eastern Europe still retains the "J" with the "Y" sound. Either sound of the letter "J" is neither right or wrong, it's just what it is in that language which is spoken.
But, knowing that the "yodh," the "iota," the "I," and the "J" for millennia all had the "Y" sound, it is quite appropriate to use the "J" letter and keep its "Y" sound whenever it is you see or use the name of God--"Jah." You could just as easily and correctly use and spell God's name as "Iah." The same applies to the name of His Son.
This is pretty much the history of the letter "J." Easy. I hope this helps.

You yourself have said, Michelle. It is the same "spirit" that "seats itself in the seat of Moses" while placing burdens hard to carry upon men. It is the same spirit that has persecuted, indeed, tortured and killed some of the Body, for disagreeing with them. The same spirit that calls people harsh names and denies the Holy Spirit... indeed, calling him a bad spirit. Even saying that he is the Destroyer, the one who drags down to the pit... or sends them to "hell"... which is what you have stated... again... here. Again.

A little leaven (and the Catholic Church has way more than a little)... ferments the entire lump. That leaven... is hypocrisy... and is rampant in both. Indeed, rather than completely QUIT touching the FIRST unclean thing... the second only became AS the one before. My Lord didn't set up a religion... or any religious institution. To the contrary, he CONDEMNED... the ONE... institution that the Most Holy One of Israel Himself established... because of this very thing, leaven. Now, you have an institution where one man claims to be "leader"... and who you call "Father"... both indirect opposition to what Christ is recorded to have said.
YOU might think (and, of course, you would), well, "What about their 'good' works?" Good works count for NOTHING... if there are bad works, as well. And I don't even need to go INTO that harlot's bad works... over MILLENIA... and even recently. She is a harlot, a fornicatrix with the kings of the earth.

My inlaws sent the latest mags home with Carrot when he went to visit. He was too polite to refuse and he didn't want to upset them. He bought them home and proceeded to get a fire going to burn them...After an hour he came back in the house and said that they wouldn't burn...He was convinced that they wouldn't burn because of the demonic speel in them...
