    Hi Designs,

Time and distance? hmmm... I think I have a question for you. :-) Does God exist in or outside of time?

    Does The Name Really Matter?

    (just hit this thread)

    NO. NO. NO. NO.

That which can be named is not The Name.

HaShem cannot be encompassed by a mere name.

Humans cry out in thousands of languages. Millions of souls sigh under their burdens.

    They cry out.

But our souls need no human language. The language of the soul is the same, regardless of language.

We are all brother and sisters.

The Father hears. The Father will fulfill every need.

Love is beyond language. Love, in its totality, is beyond our comprehension.

Shelby with the greatest respect to you...if the name of God is as you say - what means is he using to reach the ones he calls to himself around the world, to let them know this, do you believe?

He is using His Son, dear Loz (the greatest of love and peace to you!), the Holy Spirit. The One that leads us... into ALL truth.

I believe I hear my heavenly father with the 'ears' of my heart and as you know I have no doubts whatsoever about my anointing...yet I have only heard this name recently and only on this forum...? I'm asking you this in sincerity as you will probably know.

In truth, dear one, I have only heard the Father five times. It is the Son that I hear all other times. He is the one who revealed the Father's name to me... and his own. Not through the pages of a book, but with his voice.

By the way whilst I've been reading this thread the words I'm 'hearing' from the Bible are: 'Then you will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.' Jer 29 v 12 & 13

Indeed! And while I am reading that verse here, the word of my Lord to me is to ask you, "Who is the "me"... that you will call, come to, and pray to... who will listen to you... who you will seek and find... when you see with all of YOUR heart?"

I mean YOU no offense or disrespect, dear Loz. I just presented it to you as he gave it to me.

Again, the greatest of love and peace to you!

YOUR servant and a slave of Christ,

Great post BTS. If I believed in God, that is what I would believe. How does the deaf and the mute who can speak no sound, nor hear no sound, access God's love? Obviously, God's love must transcend language, sight, sound taste and feeling.

SA, What does the name Joshua mean?

It is the English equivalent of the Hebrew, Jah e shua, dear BXJW (peace to you!)... which means "Jah saves/Jah is salvation/salvation of Jah."

What folks are missing is that it is the One "who comes in the NAME of Jah"... to whom we owe salvation. "Jesus"... has nothing to do with the Most Holy One of Israel, other than to identify Him as and with the highest GREEK god, Zeus.

I hope this helps, dear one, and again, I bid you peace!

    A slave of Christ,

A Name can be a very important matter.

What's the difference between Jesus and JESUS?

And if there were others with the same name as Jesus back in the day....how would government officials be able to tell them apart? When his parents went to Bethlehem, was Jesus assigned a number from the census that was being conducted? Did Jesus have a number with his name?

You would think that if all this transpired there would be a real historical account of him somewhere.

    Does the name matter?

Yes, for some, it really REALLY does and for THOSE, yes, it matters that they use what they believe to be the right one.
