They knock on your door, offering wonderful things. In reality, they are peddling death, destruction and sorrow.

Awake Magazine, July 2009, Page 29:

“No one should be forced to worship in a way that he finds unacceptable or be made to choose between his beliefs and his family.”

I would spend my time more productively searching for God's true faith.

Who says I am not doing this?

And you know what I found.

    More of the f*cking same.

Gotta love how she always says she passes judgment on no one and stays off of threads regarding individuals personal lives...but still manages to get on and give her BS.

    Hi sweetbaby

Who is doing the rejecting? Like I said earlier Religion is a life-choice if someone chooses a different life they are rejecting their previous one.

If someone wants to keep the familial bonds strong they would have to respect their parents life-choice especially if they want to live in that home. I am a Jehovah's witness why would I invite anyone that says "I hate Jehovah's witnesses!" into my home? They are saying they hate me!

They would be unable to hide it and the consequences of believing this. The scenario of this debate is not just rejecting a religion you were brought up in but actively fighting against it as a life-choice.

It's almost like she's roleplaying, imo.

    Too predictable.

I do not fight against it as a life-choice. I have no problem with people who chose to be JWs and I don't wish to coax them out of their faith.

Interesting, I have done a whole lot more than you and am open about it but I have not had action taken against me at all.v

Sab, we could've faded but my PO dad has this anti-nepotism thing going. Always has. He turned in my "questioning emails" (that I'd sent to my mom) to the BOE and pressured them to keep pursuing me until so they could pull us into a JC hearing.

A small part of me used to respect it but after this episode I see it as having an unnatural, misplaced loyalty to a concept over one's own child. I've stopped making excuses for my father(s).

My reply: You very obviously are not one. JWs do NOT say "I am A jehovah's Witness." JWs say "I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses"

If you would not invite someone into your home who says "I hate JWs" why do you frequent a site that the org you fantacize about says is apostate?
