  My reply: That is a lie, or an ignorant statement. Witnesses are taught to hate those who leave their cult. they are taught to shun those who break gb demands. The cult-members are taught to commit murder thru refusal of blood transfusions and not to plan for the future by being deceived by the many false prophecies of the WT.

  Debator, you know I like having you around, but your thinking of the flip side of the coin when it comes to JWs "offering their religion as the true faith" as you put it.

  My mother knows about the views I've been developing as of late regarding this religion. You know what she told me? "If you leave the truth, I'm through with you." Thats my mother who told me that. I'm an adult living on my own so I can deal with it. You know how many have had to fair worse? Have you read the horror stories on here Debator? All of this family trauma because an individual doesn't believe in what the WT presents itself as or doesn't agree with a doctrine or doctrines. At the very least this causes strain in the family, and at its worst it causes a family to break apart. All because the WT just can't accept that someone or some groups might look at the same information they have access to, and come to a different conclusion than the GB. Its not right Debator, its unfair.

  No, I am open about my defection and anti-witness activism. Although I respect my family and do not talk about my views around them. But I don't hide it.

  News alerts, JW's are not, never have been and never will be, the Word of God.

  They are not, never have been and never will be, Jesus.

  So what Jesus DID has nothing to do with what JW's do.

  Jesus had the authority and the right and he passed that onto his DIRECT disciples, period.
