Can anyone come up with a morally acceptable reason for waiting thousands of years to end wickedness?

When do you think it should have come? The day Adam sinned?

It is evident to me that people asking this question in such a mocking tone peppered with profanities forget that they are carnal - fallen and corrupt just like the rest of us.

Conveniently, the people who sold you on this idea are also running a sale on the solution.

The question is really who is god, you are someone greater? If he is greater then he has the moral right to decide and not you. If you are God save yourself

I agree. Who is he? Is he precisely the same as a God who doesn't exist? Vishnu? Allah? Santa Claus?

    Save myself from what?

But, PSac, His coming will be a wondrous thing, notwithstanding the fear-inspiring aspect.

I am the first to hope and believe in all the good that will come of his coming, but that doesn't change the fact that the majority of people are not ready for him yes and I thank Our Lord that he and Our Father are indeed patient and not wanting anyone to be lost.

Yes he cares for us all. But he is holy and we are not.

So why not act - holiness should not mean procrastinate!

    Why are we not holy?
