Can anyone come up with a morally acceptable reason for waiting thousands of years to end wickedness?

    In this scenario, dear ones (peace to you!), the poster misses his own point: that the "bushels"... are weeds... and thus, aren't "innocent"... as well as that if they indeed "suffer" and are killed as implicated, it would be at the hand of their fellow weeds.

    As is typical of you, YOU TOTALLY MISS THE POINT, then go on to insist that others miss the point.

    I am glad I am not any longer a believer in this stupid nonsense.

    Let's take your question to its logical conclusion.

    Why should God tolerate wickedness for one second?

    Why provide a redeemer?

    Why doesn't God destroy human beings the instant they do anything wrong?

    The human race would never have expanded beyond Adam and Eve.

    Why didn't God just create Stepford people with no free will at all?

    GOD doesn't need a morally acceptable reason for waiting thousands of years to end wickedness. When you are as big as Him you can do what the hell you want!

    GOD owns the whole world and universe and Utah. He is above reproach and what He does is automatically right. It's all in the Bible so how hard can it be to understand? Whinging about Him allowing wickedness is wickedness in itself.

    GOD is one of the friends in high places that you want to keep on the payroll and suck up to if you want to get out of this world alive. His Son is also worth cultivating. This Batman and Robin team could be all you have to protect you on the terrible day of vengeance that will end wickedness - until the next time.

    More faith, dear FF (peace to you!), as with a lack of anything that one wants/needs to "fill."

    You cannot force yourself, dear one. If it is not a willing, natural act, then either NO "fruit" is produced... or what is produced is sickly, weak. Since some of us (me, yes!) are "weak" branches... and only able to put forth such puny, sickly, insufficient "fruit"... the MOST Holy One of Israel will give faith to the one asking... for MORE faith... because it is a "fruit" of His holy spirit... which spirit He does not withhold from the one asking. Mark 9:24; Luke 11:13; John 7:37, 38; Hebrews 11:1, 2

    My "fruit" is often weak... particularly when certain ones angrily or hatefully oppose what I share... and, by connection, me... with very harsh words and/or false prophecies, supposedly from Christ. At those times, I have to ask for even MORE faith so that I can hear HIM... and what HE is saying to me... about such ones and about myself. Because we very often let the outside "noise" drown him out... or at least, obscure his voice so that it does not burst through.

    But... he always bursts through... in answer to my request for MORE faith... so that I can put it in what HE is saying to me... and NOT what others are saying. So that I can listen to HIS voice... and not the voice of "strangers." And there are a lot of "strangers"... and they always tend to try and come in place of HIM. But if it isn't HIM coming... one shouldn't listen.

    I know... more than was asked, but I am "recovering" from another post. My sincere apologies!

    Matthew 5:6 "Happy are those hungering and thirsting for righteousness, since they will be filled."

    We all seek truth. Jesus is the truth. If we seek we shall find. These ones who are filled are they not filled with holy spirit which will give you faith.
