VM 44- Good thread. The GB members get jealous when they look into a mirror. The image they project to rank and file members is greater than what they actually are - flesh and blood humans

Damn son.. GBs are human too.. yall think GBs are angels or something?.. they're just leading this org in preaching work and feeding spritual food..

are the spiritual food thats being provided opposite to the bible teaching?

i dont see anyone else doing world wide organized preaching work preaching about Gen 3:15 and paradise on earth.

and JW probably joined UN NGO to prove that JWs are not communist political party like some governments claimed.. yall crossed eyed mofos can;t see the big picture

And this, my dear blueweed, is likely due to the fact that different denominations have different interpretations of Genesis 3:15. Also, I think you fail to realize that there ARE, in fact, other religions that preach. Being a global organization is'nt really a requirement. Yes, I know the Bible says that the message will be preached in all the inhabited Earth, but can you be certain that the "message" JWs preach is this same message? Are you careful to examine the context of that scripture? More importantly, is the Watchtower Society known by its good fruits? Is the message being spread effectively? How can it be that the world is so ignorant of the "Truth," yet it's being preached loudly and far and wide? If this message is so effective and jws have Holy Spirit, then why does it take so many service hours to produce one new baptized member?

    PAHPA:

Your post says it all. Too bad I didn't know this way back when. I could have saved myself 21 wasted years!

    BLUEWEED:

I take offense. People here just don't accept the JW religion and their ever-changing, ever-morphing teachings, doctrines. So, you must feel that because the religion supposedly does an organized preaching work and uses gods magic name (never mind what they are teaching) then that's okay. I disagree.

I am curious as to what the religion's real reason was to join the UN. You say it was to prove they weren't a communist organization(?) Is that true and are there facts to back that up? And, why hide it? I would really like to know the answer to these questions.

You might look at these sources.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jehovah's_Witnesses_and_the_United_Nations

    http://www.jwfacts.com/watchtower/united-nations-association.php

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2001/oct/08/religion.world

They will likely try to squirm out of the Guardian article, claiming it is a lie. Do not allow them to do this. What I said was this.

"The Watchtower has many lawyers who are diligent about representing their interests. If this article is false, then it is libel and you know the Watchtower would have them in court over that. Please tell me when and where the court case was filed and settled. " <silence or lame explanation> " "So there is not court case. If you can prove otherwise, I will consider that, but if not then I accept this article as being true. The Watchtower DID have association with the UN, which it teaches it the wild beast of Revelation."

I freaked the guy out with that, he started blubbering and was disoriented.

So, not to hijack the thread, yes I do have my 24K gold framed picture of David Splane that I make my prostate cleaning offering to each morning upon rising.

It would not be surprisingly unusual for the WTS and their self created GB members to now continually reassert

their power and vital importance, since everything they have been saying for the past 100 years have been false and invalid

proclamations, wholly devise to attract attention to their published literature.

An example of this is the WTS own video it put out last year where the GB commentators continually stated

the phrase " We are Preaching the Truth " over and over again. Its power game to them and they have the full intension of hanging

    on to that acquired power.

The Watchtower and the 'organisation' are certainly idols at the expense of Jesus Christ. The primary emphasis on Jesus Christ in the New testament is disturbingly missing in the organisation's programme of spiritual 'education.' It does raise questions as to whether they are genuinely Christian or some kind of quasi-Jewish sect with smatterings of Christianity thrown in.

If the JW,s arent Gods true religion-which christian religion is? Where would one turn to be fed spiritual food from the faithful slave ( teachers ) whom Jesus appointed. I cannot see one single religion that claims they are christian who can even understand simple bible milk let alone any meat.
