Here is what the christian religion turned into after all the christians that learned from the apostles were killed-- Catholocism( tree trunk ) many branches popped off since then-why? because someone saw something wrong in the one before it. And here is reality that proves it right.-- A good tree produces good fruit- A rotten tree produces rotten fruit.

Moshe-- I know of all the history of the JW,s-- Here is reality-- Satan owns every false religion on this earth-He poses as God in them-He infiltrated the lies centuries ago never were the lies corrected, Satan attacks Jesus,s true religion constantly,he started as soon as Jesus died in the letters of Peter- He infiltrates lies hoping they never get corrected, but the ones who make the corrections will prove in the end the ones who truly have Jesus. He doesnt need to infiltrate lies in all the rest anymore, just the one that belongs to Jesus.

well what is your fruit ? that you have 7million followers . the catholic have at least 100 million not sure but its up there and they are in everynation and they made it there before you. baptist are inthe upper 30 millions and are in every nation. many protestant denominations work together and realize they have minor differences but arent condeming each other, many are pacifists.many also actually help people physically without expecting conversion. there is lists of other religions that believe witnesses exact beliefs. the problem is the witnesses beliefs arent accurate to begin with its just half quotes and misquotes and repittion. next and the real question to start with is when and why and where were they chosen and how can this be prooved ? it cant be they have no proof they are the spokesman rather to the contrary the evidence showsby failed dates and quasy math and numeralization that they are false prophets. bottom line it doesnt matter what they promise mebecause in the 60's and 70's they said harmageddon was coming they said that and it didnt come that is not a little thing to the bible it clearly made them false prophet. not counting their earlier false prophecies.net google stauros. i wont comment on anything else because ive been to general already and dont have time to get specific.

JWs attack every other religion there is so surely they must be led by Satan if we are to work on the logic outlined above?

I accept JWs make mistakes and it is agreed that they attempt to put their mistakes right which is commendable. However, they then stop whereas the next step should be apologise to the people whose lives have been ruined forever by their mistakes. Being a Christian is having a humble spirit and not being afraid to admit they're wrong and apologising for it.

A lot of JWs (there are exceptions) deny vehemently that the end of the world was preached to happen in 1975. They merely say that this was incorrect information put about by the less intelligent, over zealous witnesses. If this is so, as this preaching went on for several years before 1975 why did they not put a stop to it? They didn't. They allowed people to sell their homes and they happily accepted the money from these people as donations. Why did they not rehome these people when it became evident that 1975 was not Armageddon?

Surely, they have a duty of care. They clearly had/have the funds to help these people. These people gave up everything for them. Those that gave money from the sale of their homes should have been rehomed by the Watchtower using the funds that they had donated based on the informationt they were given about the end of the world.

kjw53, I would be interested to learn your take on this.

    Sincere thanks.

Trace their roots back and what do you find? How could it have evolved into a cult?

    http://www.144000.110mb.com/directory/occult_jehovahs_witnesses.html

Try as the Jehovah's Witnesses do, there is no escaping their occult pagan past. Potential converts are forewarned and are advised to study these issues carefully. Below are numerous websites devoted to exposing the Jehovah's Witnesses' deep connection with the occult and its pagan origins.

This documented historical connection with the occult is evident in several ways. Russell relied heavily on astrological predictions and signs of the zodiac. Rutherford believed that Jehovah most likely resided in the Pleiades constellation. Many of Rutherford and Russell's false predictions were calculated based on alignment and measurement of ancient Egyptian pyramids relying in essence on the powers of the occult. A small pyramid was erected next to Russell's grave as a memorial to his life and work. The satanic All-Seeing Eye of occult worship adorns Russell's memorial pyramid, and early Watchtower publications incorporate Masonic symbolism to a great degree. Furthermore, the Divine Plan of the Ages, an early Watchtower book, is adorned with the Winged Sun Disc, an Egyptian religious symbol of pagan origins and false worship.

The Jehovahs Witnesses can run from their occult past, but they can't hide. Nor can they sweep these truths under the rug of their New Light Doctrine. Due to such an un-biblical foundation that continued well into the 1920s, it is inconceivable that Jesus Christ chose the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society as their sole representatives on earth due to the purity of their faith.

Here is reality-- Satan owns every false religion on this earth-

Another unproveable assumption that you have been taught- reminds me of the Mormon who met the JW on a street corner and after 30 minutes they couldn't convince each other to change their religion- "well one of us is right, that's for sure" says the Mormon

" Uh, excuse me" interrupts a bystander, "you forgot the other option- both of you could be wrong."

Which is the problem with religions who argue they are the only truth and way to life, in that they fail to realize all religions are based on untested assumptions and outright lies. The original WT religion looked to 1874 as the return date for Jesus, much later, pastor Russell upped the date to 1914 and waited to be taken to heaven. The pyramid in Giza , Egypt proved his dates were right, or so he said, ie, God wrote the 1914 date in stone and the pyramid was tangible proof for JWs that the WT was right, except it wasn't. On and on the JWs go, believing whatever the WT leaders tell them, even if they have been wrong every time so far.

    Kjw53,

If you're sure the WTS is "the truth," what are you doing on JWN?

If you have doubts about the organization and its claims, let's talk about them.
