Terra Incognita - I don't see that what Terry wrote is anywhere near as provocative as creating a thread title that says -
"Republicans want to enslave children and encourage violence toward any that oppose them".

Final Thoughts with Hans......
This thread was wonderful. We've had some laughs. We've held each other as we cried. But what moral can was draw from this discussion? That we all get to enjoy the freedom to say/think/express whatever we feel. And for someone such as myself who is trapped in a Kingdom Hall, I appreciate every single one of you.

I like debates, thatis why I come here.
Debating with guys like Nick and Sab ( to name only two) are great because, even though they don't agree with me many times and I don't agree with them, we respect each others right to HAVE that opinion, we try to understand the other's POV, even if we don't agree and, perhaps more importantly, we don't have an AIR of SUPERIORITY and realize that we are just exhcnaing opinions, opinions that are full of it just like everyone elses, lol !
It does amaze me that you, Terry, would start a thread like this since, many times, you start threads that are blantantyy hostile to beleivers and that so many of your posts smack of " I am right, if you don't see it, you are ignorant".
And of course so many of your threads DO end up a battle ground.
This is not a critique mind you, just an observation.

A. I gave proof of Missouri State senator Cunningham who drafted a bill that would abolish age restrictions for children under 14; repeals the requirement for work certificates for 14 and 15 year olds; removes requirements for employers to keep records for those children AND THEY CANNOT EVEN BE INSPECTED BY THE DIRECTOR OF THE DIVISION OF LABOR STANDARDS!!!
Imagine a 15 year old working at a motel where prostitution is occuring, (or even if there is no prostitution-you know who visits motels) and no inspection of those grounds allowed. You cannot even assume that such a child is working there based on the below law.
As far as inciting people to violence is concerned, that was a separate issue where a politician made multiple statements about people having to exercise their second amendment rights if they don't get their way (for anything in general not specific laws that they want to pass).
Are you not capable of figuring out what such statements can lead to?!?!?! The arrogance of having my title criticized when the issue I'm revealing is so abominable that it DESERVES SUCH HARSH LANGUAGE.
Do you want to soft peddle an obscenity of this magnitude with a nice sugar coated, title?
I THINK NOT!
Furthermore, concerning the topic of this thread, there is no need whatsoever to apply civility to such a depraved issue and if someone doesn't agree, then I wonder about their moral capacity.
And please note how the conservatives on my child slavery thread went off topic to discuss general issues. There was no inclination, with an exception, to discuss the consequences of CHILD LABOR. Why is that!? Why did most conservatives on this thread dodge the issue!?
No way that I'm going to restrain my moral indignation on such an abomination AND the type of persons who support it! You might as well cry because someone is fuming about rape in the workplace and is doing so with strongly worded titles.
No way am I going to be one whit polite when staring at the face of evil! And if that offends you so be it!
SB 222 – This act modifies the child labor laws. It eliminates the prohibition on employment of children under age fourteen. Restrictions on the number of hours and restrictions on when a child may work during the day are also removed. It also repeals the requirement that a child ages fourteen or fifteen obtain a work certificate or work permit in order to be employed. Children under sixteen will also be allowed to work in any capacity in a motel, resort or hotel where sleeping accommodations are furnished . It also removes the authority of the director of the Division of Labor Standards to inspect employers who employ children and to require them to keep certain records for children they employ. It also repeals the presumption that the presence of a child in a workplace is evidence of employment.
