I assumed (perhaps wrongly) that since dear EP (peace to you, as well, dear one!)... "knew" what he was talking about, he also knew this and so there really was no reason TO respond: he either knew it... or would figure it out once he re-read what he posted.
You assumed correctly, I do know what I am talking about. Hallel is a transliteration, letter substitution. Just because it is pronounced similarly in modern language has NOTHING to do with how it was pronounced or spelled in ancient Hebrew. Similarly, Allah is not spelled or prounounced similarly in 600 year old Arabic. Trying to compare the words in modern English with a Latin alphabet is utterly and absolutely useless for historical comparisons.

God's purpose was to hide the seed(from evil spirits) here on this unimportant planet.
Man disobeyed, tipping the evil spirits off to where the seed was located.
God is now, only going to take a few "choice humans" that share in the same likeness of the seed
So,.... God's purpose was not to save the world of its problems {that man has created via turning their back on him,.......}
but to preserve the seed

If we want to do things our own way, then should we not have to face the consequences?
That would be a valid thought tec...if that little girl wasn't the one facing the consequences for something she never did. WE...is a word that generalizes the terrible things that happen...but when you break it down to individuals...more often than not...they are innocent. So how do you justify innocent people paying the consequences for guilty ones. How is it possible for children to be guilty of anything that deserves death as a punishment?....Do you honestly believe that a loving God would stand by and watch children starve to death and do nothing?
So, believe it or not, tsunami is a small problem. Starving children, small problem. Let us not keep kicking the big problem "down the road".
n.drew.....Easy to say isn't it N.drew? When it isn't YOU that is effected by these 'small problems'. Different story if it was your son/daughter/mother/father/brother/sister. Imagine for one minute THEM starving to death, imagine for one minute THEM being killed in a tsunami...now...tell me again...how that is a small problem. Is it still a small problem for you? Do you still praise your god for what he has given you? But at least he helped you find your car keys yesterday, or helped you with some minor problem that didn't involve you dying.
What is it? TOLERANCE The world lacks tolerance.
So, the world lacks tolerance, and that justifys allowing innocent people to be killed or starve to death...of course...it's our fault. God just watches like a loving God and doesn't intercede...because that is love.
I have not got to the point of disbelieving in a god...but I am struggling with the justifications you have for your god.

Oh my, the society for thinking for others. Need it! Damn paragraphs. When I see your name on the list I say in my head "oh no". check I went quickly back to read you post "read it". check It sounds like a bad poem (self explainitory, no points for correct spellin-there I go again) but just an opinion-totally wothless, not the poem, the opinion. But "keep trying" uh, should I confess I am loving this fight. No? Then don't read the previous sentence. No problem! You know what that means, right? "do you own a gun? I should have added "and do you know where I live" I should say I don't want to know you know, if you know.
