Sending you big hugs and well wishes. I've done the radiotherapy for a small breast cancer 4 years ago. Its tiring, but manageable. Take care of yourself it will all get sorted out soon, hopefully.

Will you be having your op at Wansbeck?
A relative had a similar op there, spoke very highly of them. Mr Carrott was the consultant.

George, yes it will be at the Wansbeck, my cosultant is Mr Bradburn. Radio will be at the Freeman at Newcastle.

This is good news. Keep your expectations regarding them low, and you won't be disappointed. Remember, too, that they may use this as an opportunity to "witness" to you, etc.

I'm sorry this is happening to you, and sending good thoughts and best wishes your way. I was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago, and I'm cancer free today! Cancer treatment has come so far, and you'll get through this just fine!
It's good that your JW family has gotten in touch. But I agree with leavingwt - Enjoy their company, but don't expect too much - their minds are still trapped in a cult. Just remember who your real friends/family are. The JWs presence is just a 'bonus'... (at least they are showing up! When my JW mother found out that I had cancer, she didn't call, send a card, nothing. She lives right down the street from me - and I'm not even DF'd.)

That is really sad about your family GGG I'm sorry to hear that.
I almost get the impression that my mum and dad were quick to take the oportunity to have a good reason to be in touch. LeavingWT is right though it would be a mistake to expect things to be normal, I really hope they don't try to use it to encourage me to go back - that would be awkward.
