Wow, Pams Girl - laminated fliers?! That's total genius. Well done! I'm so thrilled that you're going to so much trouble to spread the world. I wish you every success on your 'covert op'. Please thank your hubbie from me (if you feel it's worthwhile) for driving you round.

Thanks also to venetian for her excellent work in spreading the word locally, to the point of verbally 'pitching' householders! I'm genuinely excited that this project is slowly taking off. Hopefully with such initiative being shown, it can gather much needed momentum and a "life of its own".

Well I've had a lovely afternoon . Georgeous spring sunshine and a bright view of the downs. 120 fliers posted and some positive remarks from a few people I met who wondered what I was doing.

Lets hope it translates to some signings! xx

120 fliers??!! Wow Venetian, you're a star! That's great work. Well done. I'm sure that will get a significant number of votes in, and hopefully once enough people start logging on to the website and researching the issue for themselves, the campaign will take on a life of its own. I also appreciate your one-on-one conversations. That sort of thing really drills the message home.

I'm having a bit of a debate with a poster on the Manchester forum who is defending the charitable status of the Witnesses. He/she claims not to be a Witness, but is still fighting their corner. I'm trying to talk them round!

Thank you JWg/f and Cedars, you're an inspiration! I've been wanting to do something positive like this for a while and this campaign has given me the impetus I needed.

I've sent you a PM with a suggestion Cedars, if you get time I'd appreciate your opinion.

Good luck with "cupcake" on the Manchester forum, you're doing an excellent job.

cedars - I'm having a bit of a debate with a poster on the Manchester forum who is defending the charitable status of the Witnesses. He/she claims not to be a Witness, but is still fighting their corner. I'm trying to talk them round!

Hi cedars, are you debating the poster or asking him simple and emotional questions? I would ask him questions like, "Does he believe that freedom of thought and freedom of speech is an inalienable rights?" If he does, then why does he support dangerous cults like the WTBTS who trample on JWs inalienable rights. Any simple and emotional questions that you might ask a JW to get them to think might also work with that poster. Good-luck!!

Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,

    Robert
