I agree with Cofty that it was a completely moronic thing to do - but sadly many 17 year olds do moronic things, and I'm sure he winces with embarrassment when he looks back on that incident now. You certainly can't call him a Nazi for an ill-advised prank as a teenager.
Don't get me wrong - you're Canadian, and I'm intrigued as to your views of the monarchy. However, surely scrutinizing the behavior of teenage royals is going a bit far when it comes to making trenchant and meaningful observations about the merits or negatives of having a Canadian monarch? The guy's 28 now and, I'm sure, far more mature after his spells in Afghanistan, etc. Furthermore, barring a very unlikely chain of catastrophic events, he will never be your King. It would be a shame to paint him as a Nazi for the rest of his life for one thoughtless teenage prank.
