I can't see them dropping "serve-us" altogether.
Wasn't there a note recently about the upcoming offer for November being "tracts"? If so, the groundwork is being laid.
Tracts only when doing door to door. RVs can get the mags. Couple that with strong admonition to only get one public mag per active JW (or family). Circulation is like 40 million a month on the public WT and awake. Billions of magazines sit in storage worldwide right now. Time to end that.
Cutting the size of the mags in January drops their printing obligation in half. Screaming at the flock that no more mags will be left door to door will cut that in half again.
Cutting their public magazine printing by 75% allows for more court payouts in the next few years, along with the selling off of Brooklyn.
Maybe things are really worse financially than we know.

Coming right out and saying they are the direct mediators to Jehovah, not Jesus, since they believe they (the 144k) are to be king/priests in heaven, then they are to take over while on earth. Saying something that Jesus is concentrating on some other bullshit while he entrusting them with ruling directly over the flock.
Hah! Man, if only... that would make a bunch of people go, wtf? maybe...

"Zion’s Watch Tower’ has, we believe, JEHOVAH for its backer, and while this is the case it will never beg nor petition men for support. When He who says: ‘All the gold and silver of the mountains are mine,’ fails to provide necessary funds, we will understand it to be time to suspend the publication.”
Maybe the era of the public Watchtower and Awake has come to an end. Maybe "Jehovah" has decided to suspend publication.

A merger between Scientology + JW's? After all they have very similar core doctrines. Maybe Tom Cruise and John Travolta will join the GB and bring back the glory days of Chitty & Greenlees.

Somehow $$ is involved. The Agency relationship is killing them. I am sure what happed in Penn, is terrifying them. Possible CRIMINAL charges now?
The Old Flock book had HUGE margins for elders to write in THIER OWN HANDWRITTING dictated letters, new rules, etc. Hard to publish that on the net., and gives WTBTS wiggle room in court. I would bet $$ on a new flock book.
Franchise agreements, Independent Contractor agreements, and Manufacturers rep agreements seperate companies from field representative. If you ever disclose secret formulas (the recipe for COKE, KFC ) they can sue you. Military contractors have docs like these. I was always amazed Elders never sign anything.
If they OWN all the halls, they can LEASE them back to the congregations. More money. Less liability. They can evict. They can sell.
If they don't REQUIRE you to go in field service, less liability.
The danger in having JWs rent/lease, what if 2/3 the hall decide to rent ELSEWHERE at the behest of a couple of popular elders? "Lord Where else would we go?..........down the street my child........
Speculation is SO MUCH FUN!

As 00DADDY sez,
Policy changes inspired by legal concerns are not techinically "Doctrine Changes", but they could certainly be presented to the flock as if they are.
For example, if they lose the Two Witness Rule in the case of pedophiles, then that could be presented as a "Doctrine Change", aka "Nu-Light TM from Jehovah!"
and credits to Cyberjesus for his comments.
You ALL KNOW this will have nothing to do with the Bible whatsoever. They don't give a RAT'S ASS about the Bible. They will simply be announcing ways to cover their butts and put all the burden on the poor elders. Same tactics for the last 3 years or so. Remember, this is a corporation. A corporation exists to preserve itself at all costs, in these cases. A few months ago, the sudden frantic rage was subliminally warning against upcoming anointed elders who will not put up with any more of ther CRAP, and to challenge their authority. Trying to be the collective "Grimer WORMTONGUE" (Lord of the Rings).
I say we start a THOUSAND SECTS of the WT to keep them awake at their jobs.
Any new religions and leaders that would be good breakoffs?
Now THAT would really freak them out.
Bastards.

... perhaps a returning to a similar ecclesiatical structure of the CT Russell days, congregations are autonomous yet expected to conform to the spiritual food of the faithful slave to be true Christians, each responsible for its own governship yet expected to take in the food from the faithful slave class ... no more calls to legal, elders just use your own judgment when applying the clear direction of the organization either you make decisions in line with the food provided or you choose not to, which would be like disassociating yourself by your own actions (ie Bulgaria and blood) ... whatever each congregation does will be of it's supposed own free will, the cutting of the umbilical cord

Hi wannabe,
That's fine but they need an apostasy fom their apostasy, like antimatter. Going mainstream Christian or even allowing dignity and freedom like the Bible Students would just be ignored. And has been for ther most part. You have to think outside the box. They are a 19th century carnival act. Antimatter on that? (no Higgs-boson jokes, please)
Actually you can get lost in the rhetoric.
JWs are a sect of a cult which is a cult of a sect.
Or is early Pharisaical Judaism the cult of Persian religion, and Christianity the sect, and the JWs the cult of a sect?
You could start a sect of a cult which is a cult of a sect! (Or something like that.)
Speaking of which,on another sudden development,
I JUST FOUND THE TRUTH!!
