Try to stick to the problem at hand. If you're honestly not a troll, then try and have a competent, adult conversation or debate. Many of us on here love to debate as long as it is facts that are being debated, not opinions.

I challenge anyone to glance through the elder's manual "Shepherd the Flock of God" and not be dumbfounded by all the "sanctions and penalties" that elders are instructed to mete out on the congregation for a vast spectrum of different scenarios and misdemeanors.

I would love to show my wife the "Shepherding" book just for this very fact. I think there is actually less than 10 pages devoted to shepherding and at least 2/3rds of the book devoted to kicking people the fuck out.
