Whatever you say tec....
Again, I strongly suggest to ANYONE that is hearing a voice, even if they think it is Jesus, to seek medical advice. If it turns out to be harmless then good luck with that.

TEC:
He talks to everyone and anyone... not everyone listens or hears him... or recognizes him. He was speaking to me long before I heard or recognized Him.

So why doesnt Jesus help all the starving people in Africa ? Is he blind ? Is he so petty that unless they say his name he ignores him ? If you walking down the street and someone had a heartattack, would you ignore them and fail to call the ambos until they said your name ?
When I was a JW I believed in demons and their power so much. This belief was so entrenched in me that certain things happend in my life that I attributed to the demons - unexplainable things. The power of belief, faith or the power of the mind is a very strong thing indeed and can manifest things - I do believe that.
I no longer believe in god or the demons-my life is now more full of love and light and no more odd unexplained things. Whatever you give power too, will come about.
If you believe you will get ill - you will work at it till you do.
If you believe god has revealed himself to you - you will see anything that serves that purpose as god's hand.

People (including those who follow Christ) suffer because of our actions and the actions of others. There are natural consequences to what we choose to do. This world, from its start and even now, has made choices that lead to such states as starting people, in Africa and elsewhere.

Perhaps WE would stop, because we are weak and not as good as God! You see, we don't have the strength to turn away from suffering. Instead of calling an ambulance, we should stand over those victims and tell them that they are suffering because of choices made, and really to intervene would mean the lesson would not be learned. But we don't do that, because we are weak.
Well I've been working on it. This person fell on the ground and appeared to be in pain. Not everyone stopped. I did. I had my phone with me, and the person seemed relieved, even called out to me for help. But I didn't try to help. You see, there were all these other people that didn't stop to help, and I realized that if I just helped the person writhing in pain on the sidewalk, they would never learn a lesson. They would just assume that they never have to stop to help because someone else would always clean up the mess. This was unacceptable, and I explained it to the writhing person. That person asked if I would please just call for help and not punish them for the decisions of those around us, but I had to say, 'no'. I explained that this issue was bigger than them and their pain, and if they just trusted me a bit more, they would SEE that and NOT expect me to intervene. So selfish! Anyway, some other weakling came along and called for help. Exasperating.
I went to visit them in the hospital. They didn't want to talk to me. I explained that while I knew my nonaction seemed harsh, surely they could understand my need to let consequences play out and lessons to be learned! I don't know what is wrong with some people. They are so self-centered! They even refused to thank me! They insisted they should thank the less perfect person that helped them, and that I deserved no thanks. How ungrateful!
Quick update.....
This marks Day 4 of praying to Jesus, asking him to show me his love and the love of his father, explicitely saying that I am open to anything that would convince me personally, even voices or visions.
So far, nothing. Some good things have happened on my life, like Oktoberfest, but I am going to attribute that to buying Oktoberfest tickets three months ago. Also, I am winning my Fantasy football matchup this week, but I did all of the research and picks and last minute changes to the team, so I am going to give that credit to me as well.
Did you wake up this morning? I think you should take that as confirmation that your prayers were heard---not as a sign understand---that would be wrong. The only difference between a confirmation and a sign is the word you use. For some reason, calling it a sign is highly offensive and wrong. But in practice, they are pretty much the same.

I asked you some questions on this above, and commented as I can.

JWs punish others with that same exact kind of tough "love", too, just like in the OT days, with shunning.
Back in Israelite times, they didn't even try to hide stoning under the cover of having "love" for the individual: they dehumanized the sinner and simply stoned them to death to "cut the person off" from the community, making sure the community as a whole remained untainted by unatoned sin (failure to punish the sinner threatened the survival of the entire community if God should blame everyone). Labeling it as an act of "love" is a Orwellian move designed to make the modern-day feeble-minded Xian palliate the painful cognitive dissonance of the disconnect between Jesus' "love one another" words and the observed outcome. It's a shame the NT doesn't one of his disciples asking Jesus a follow-up question, to address the contradiction of punishment with that foggy-brained "unconditional love" thing.
So while they cannot stone others (all those inferior man-made secular laws prohibit it, of course), JWs do practice something called "shunning", and sometimes the practice leads to it's desired outcome (if the person decides to grant them their wish to see them dead).

You kind of did, but regardless of that, I am just asking that, if he is there, to give me something that would concince me. And let's be honest, you have often offered advice on how to hear/see Christ and God and been critical (in the constructive sense) of efforts to do so, offering advice on what to do, what people may have done wrong, etc.
Thomas asked for a sign, I should be able to as well. Jesus asked for things from his father, I should be able to as well. Moses and Elijah called down signs to show the people, I should be able to as well. I am 100% open.
