Tell Anderson Cooper your story here... http://www.andersoncooper.com/be-on-the-show/687/ ... and if there is enough of us posting similar stories... and if the stories are shocking enough, he may do a segment on JWs. We could be on T.V. as a group! Just fill out the form.
I too wish Cedars would give us a little clue about his current machinations....we're getting restless (militant) here Cedars...
I'm going to print some 4x12 stickers aimed at shaming local JWs who follow the wt methods - stick them in visible places no one cares about - dumpsters, abandoned cars, info boards, laundromats, poles etc etc....and listen for local feedback.
marry some art work off the net and good visible fonts, take the format on a chip to a good printer - zap!
We as individuals can expose the very things this cult wants to hide - their history of failures, their suppression of freedom of thought and freedom of religion, the ¨myth'' of shunning, abuse of family and natural affections,
and at the same time direct attention to this or other sites that aid recovery or support faders (there are thousands fading everywhere)
Perhaps the moderators could offer their guidance regarding the last point?
I'd like to chime in. Many of these ideas are good. jgnat your right, protests are about numbers. Can we get the numbers we would need?, after all most of us still need to work and have lives. In time all protests are forgotten. Really, what was Wood Stock all about?
My thought is this. The news media likes to sensationalize its stories. The more sesenational it is, the longer it STAYS in the news. Case in point. NO disrespest intended. Some kid goes into a school and kills many students and the news will carry that story for weeks, because this kind of news sells, gets ratings and viewers, all good for the news business. Sister Anderson exposes the WTS for hiding child sex abuse and what does she get, a one hour story? Unless I missed other episodes. Wait a tick, I even missed that one. I was sitting at our DC when the anouncement was made about that show and was told not to watch it, and like a good JW I did not watch it. Either way it did not last long in the news. I think the WTS has some kind of hold on the news media, I have not even heard of the Candace Conti case in any news report local or world.
I think in order to capture the news media's attention, ( look at how much attention the newly elected Pope gets) we need to expose the WTS for what it is, a Satanic cult. The news media, I think will capitalize on the fact that, like Satanic cults they have hidden subliminal messages in their art work, ( which we all can gladly supply) and pose a real and dangerous threat to our communities,we can even tell how to stop them by telling them about the DO NOT CALL list.
Just my thoughts,

extractor: Thank you very very much!!!
Please folks tell your story, fill out the form, those
of you that will not have a problem appearing on TV.
I also think ridicule is very effective. Almost 900000 people saw the masturbation video on Youtube, and it got a lot of media attention. And it is very hard to defend oneself of ridicule. The same thing could be said about the Sparlock video.
Maybe things will get out of hand, even for the "Watchtower Wankers"
Why wait for the resurrection? Embrace all your loved-ones now.
Oh, THAT, is good... along with that image from page one (I have only read page one).
Sorry, carry on... just had to comment on that.
Peace,

Hmmm, that looks like Kakwa falls in the background...
MP;
The two pics are not even close to each other. Pne has a single waterfall, the other two. One has trees inthe background immediately behind the fall the other has rocks. One picture has a large slab on the left of the fall , while the other has none. The two pics are not even close to each other.
I find myself in complete agreement with Suraj Khan when he says nothing will sway the leaders of this execrable cult to change their thinking on both disfellowshipping and the subsequent shunning. One need only look at what their printed organs are saying about the practice. The entire blame for the situation has been placed on those who have been disfellowshipped or have disassociated themselves. As Theocratic Sedition sarcastically noted, all these erring ones have to do is “come back to Jehovah” and all will be forgiven. The fact that they also make returning very painful and difficult is something they will never publicly admit.
I also think that punkonice is right to say the best way to fight back is to keep the spotlight shining on this cult by spreading the word far and wide about its practices and beliefs. Breaking up families and ending friendships are only two of their myriad crimes, human rights abuses and hypocritical stances. We need to bring all of these other elements into the discussion as well so that outsiders can see how completely corrupt this organization is.
I don’t think that Data-Dog’s idea of a lawsuit based on defamation of character would work. The announcement now being read to congregations simply states, “So-and-So is no longer one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.” Where is the defamation in that? The WTS will simply say in any trial that is what disfellowshipping means and they will maintain their public stance that individual members can choose whether to shun family and friends. I love the idea of contacting somebody like CNN’s Anderson Cooper.
