To be fair, the ones who have called on us have tried to debate (they always lose, HA!) but the reality is that most people just aren't that interested. Very few people are really 'religious', even the ones who go to church - it's just a lifestyle / tradition / routine ... not really 'belief' in anything.

Just like A Watcher. He or she is a'watchin where they shouldn't be. This is in deliberate disobedience to the GB/FDS's counsel. A Watcher cannot claim to love Jehovah, yet disrespect the channel that Jehovah is using. A Watcher has " a form of Godly devotion ", but it is just a false front, something that Jehovah hates.
A Watcher, please obey the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. Your faith is not strong enough to save you from eventual apostasy. Will you not heed their loving counsel, the plea of those " Shepherds of your souls?!" You make Jehovah sad!

A watcher, I am genuinly interested in your perspective.
What lead you to come into this forum when the WT specifically says not to? I am curious. You say it strengthens your faith, I suppose to defend it right? I really hope you continue coming into this forum as your perspective is valuable to others here. I hope you feel the perspective of others here is valuable for you. There as so many different topics that are under differing opinions, and beliefs from the WT in here. Some are backed up with quotes with the WT literature itself. Just going into the WT cd you can see the claims many here have posted.
Please remain a poster here. I hope you get out of it what is best for you. That is the real goal of everyone here. For each person to do what is best for them.

When I was young before I became totally disillusioned I actually used to enjoy having a good debate. It was far more interesting than knocking on empty doors or having it shut in your face. Thing is the ones who really knew their bbles came up with lots of stuff that got me thinking. I especially remember one guy (even remember the house) who made a point of asking why we believed Jesus was Michael the archangel. I didn't know so I said I would think about what he'd said and compare it with our teachings. I went back home and did just that. I never believed it since and it was another brick taken out of the wall.
