Tony's advice should have been that they must arrange to have someone look after the animals. But it's got to be all about the magic miracle of Jehoobie.

Everybody calm down. Evidently, Jehovah will resurrect those chickens in the New World. Well, unless they were apostate chickens and they died because of God's righteous indignation. We're not going to say what Jehovah will or will not do, but the chickens did not die in vain because the brothers went to their crapvention. We just need to make certain that WE are there in the New World to welcome all worthy chickens back from the dead.

WTF? This guy is an idiot!

AM III: We're not going to say what Jehovah did or did not do …

No, but we're sure going to imply it!

Let's take a closer look at the implications of this chicken-shit story and see if it holds up to scrutiny:

The year the family went to the convention, they lost 19 chickens. But "one year later"--and notice that no convention is mentioned--none of the chickens died. This is supposed to be a "miracle" because "many villagers lost their chickens to [some unnamed] disease that year." Gee, maybe it's because they stayed home and took care of their chickens this year!

How does that make any sense at all?!? How does that prove the point that AM III is obviously trying to imply without actually stating? It does not!

Rather: Jehovah can't keep the chickens in the coop while the family's away at the DC, but when they're home watching the chickens he can keep them from dying from some disease that the neighbor's chickens had.

It seems to me that this parable teaches the exact opposite message of what Mr. Anthony Morris the Turd intends: Jehovah only keeps your chickens safe when you're home to watch over them.

Mr. Morris needs to go back and review Study #45 in the Benefit from Theocratic Ministry School Education textbook: Illustrations/Examples that Teach.

This guy is an idiot! Oh, I already said that ... lol

I wonder what method of divination AM3 used to choose that brain dead story about chickens that makes absolutely no sense if looked at a bit more critically. The idea he is trying to project onto this rather meaningless tale fit perfectly with the faulty reasoning of someone under delusions of grandure about the corporation this CEO is in charge of. His imagination is comming up short of reality and is based on unjustified and extremely biased conculsions that even he is aware of and therefore cannot dogmatically say what Jehovah the Corporation sock puppet is thinking and doing. So he just uses it for its implication value and falls short of being dogmatic in his conclusion.

I heard splane give the talk and the numbers were different. He said it was 50 chickens.

and like one of the posters mentioned there is a lot of missing information here. How many chickens did he start with 100 200 50?

it makes a difference for sure

" I heard splane give the talk and the numbers were different. He said it was 50 chickens."

So this chicken story is actually scripted into the DC talk outline -- institutionalized for use by all assigned speakers, and not just Tony the Turd's extemporaneous remark?" That's scary.

splane said it was from the yearbook somewhere

It has nothing to do with chickens in Myanmar

It could have been that Quinn the Eskimo left his igloo unattended to travel by dogsled to Anchorage to attend the district convention and when he came back his home had melted!

It has a lot to do with brothers missing the Friday sessions in Canada

The point of the experience is "you brothers in Canada that miss friday sessions look at this poor brother in some third world country. If he can take a sacrifice to attend the district convention what is wrong with you. Really what is wrong with you."

Whether this experience actually happened? Who knows. It is a tool used to shame people into obedience. nothing more nothing less
