Konceptual- there's no way to.make sense of the overlapping generations teaching. When you try, it just sounds nutty no matter what you do. Maybe they are trying to define the overlapping generations teaching. Doesn't matter either way-- It's buffoonery!

This is actually a much better explanation of the bungled initial overlapping explanation a few years ago. Its still preposterous, but expressed this way it at least closes a bunch of the loopholes that could extend the overlapping generations ad infinitum.
Also, at least they said "when the expectations of 1914 were not met"... usually 1914 is crowed as their perfect moment of prognostication.

What happens when the second generation dies out? They will change the prophecy to read those that knew the second generation and so forth. I recall an elder saying that Jehovah would preserve the FTS and make sure some of them lived through Armageddon, so they could direct the work here on earth. So much for that prediction.
People are DEFINITELY thinking about it!

Reply: Although being uneasy is normal, it doesn't have to be a recurring feeling. Remember that Jah is a strong tower and the him the righteous runs for protection...
So people are really having a very hard time believing after 100 years...

I think I explained the "generation" clear enough in the June 2010 Witchtower:
It just infuriates me to think growing up that our family was told that we would never see death and we would all happily hold hands together into that promised new system because this generation was in no way to pass away. My father sold his house in the 70's based on this lie that to put all our efforts into the full time preaching. Only to see my parents grow old a die. The WT society can deny this all they want but I was there and seen it first-hand. I do not put anything past these lying SOB, they will do anything to keep the R&F Jdub under their control.
Another observation I have is that the GB is moving away from backing their outrageous ideas with scriptures, they are instead moving towards just asserting things, saying "we understand this or that" and having their self assumed power as the FDS be all the proof they need.
