Now an argument can be made that it went through a John the Baptizer phase during Russell's time

If you made that argument one year and a few weeks ago, you would have been an apostate. This is a new argument, and not likely one you would have thought of yourself until it came out at the Annual Meeting on October 6, 2012, and then in print in the July 15, 2013 Watchtower. And no offense, but the Bible NOWHERE says there would be another John the Baptizer-like forerunner. This is completely revising WTBS history, distancing itself from Russell. BTW, John the Baptizer's role was to prepare the way for the Christ. He did NOT make mistakes. The Bible NOWHERE says there would be another who would prepare the way for the true religion. This is yet another apples to oranges comparison that you bought hook, line and sinker.

The only place "forerunner" is mentioned in the Bible is at Hebrews 6:20. Go look it up and see who that forerunner is.

Certainly the majority of those in this study you've linked Giordano, were ones that became believers after already being married.

You have proof of this? If not, please don't use suppositions to support an argument.

    Matt 10:34-37

And people think this is a wise man that should be followed? Shows me that the Jesus myth is a dispicable asshole.

Dang, Miz, you sound like you took 10,000 volts to the brain. . . did you? Or you're on some new meds now.

(I'm still thinking it's Miz as several other folks do, plus the fact he hasn't addressed that question yet)

Now the holding to of ideas contrary to what's taught in the Christian Congregation, and/or spreading of such so as to cause division, will land you in the blue room, as it should.

And this is exactly this issue. Not everything taught is what the Bible teaches. Thus, when such are discovered by the average JW because they started doing their homework, like the Beroeans, that is when the problems begin.

    Example:

Christ said: Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life (John 6:54)

WTBS says: "Whoever" really only means the 144,000.

If one were to go with what's taught in the Bible, one could be DF'd. Agreed that it would only happen if they spoke what they truly believed from the Bible. But if they did so and it went against what is taught by JWs, then the result is disfellowshipping.

Shirley, I've seen that question directed at me a few different times, I thought it was a joke or an apostate code to insult me or something. I even recieved some PMs questioning whether or not I was this Miz person. No, I am not.

I don't think anyone is interested in 'besting' the 'organization'

I think most just want to heal and help others avoid the pain.

    Am I wrong?

They're not in any position of authority

Wrong. They have the authority to decide who gets what "privileges" in the congregation. And they have the authority to strip people of those privileges. And they have the authority to expel people from the congregation if they arbitrarily decide that they aren't repentant enough for their sins.

You're either a liar, trying to deceive less knowledgable people who may be lurking, or you simply have no idea what you're talking about

Well, I remember when this "Miz fellow" came back from one of his hiatus' from the board and someone asked "are you____ " and he denied it, but come to find out it was him.

Or yet another choice. I actually believe that SFPW actually just comes here to play devil's advocate and create a commotion. I truly don't think he believes in the Watchtower organization himself.
