  I put this quote in another thread before I read this one. Here was the wbts' answer to "outsiders" who were victims of incest. Keep in mind that there were already cases of child molestation on file at the wbts when they printed this in a watchtower mag. It's from a 1987 wt.

  The acid test as to whether the WTS bigwigs really stand behind this lame rationalization is whether one of them will float it tonight in front of a national television audience. I don't think even they are that dumb... they would be laughed off the screen.

  so you come to the conclusion you need horny people for horny results.

  I guess already the old cultures like Greece and Rome had their perverted sex practices with children.
  But I think in 1. Kor. 6:9,10 you read not that child molesters come into the kingdom only those who do it with men or do some adultery.
  maybe that some clever guys behind the glance of the WT got stupid and started to desire children instead of women or male partners.
  the human soul can be very different.
  and I remember that in the mid-seventies WT wrote a lot of BS regarding oral sex, motivating theocratical women to accuse their hubs of porneia. Franz wrote there about in his book.
  So I come to the conclusion, WT has always what to say, but cannot say it at the proper time in the proper manner. They need some "MASTER PROPER" to clean the lense they are speculating.
  Its a scandal that regarding child molesters they protected those while the victims were sent to hell. And now they are cleaning their face.

  Farkel yes, I never read that they apologized for anything. Regarding wrong teachings the said "at that time the brothers believed...." eg The pyramid story or 1925.
  Only in the yearbook I guess 1980 or 1982 about on page 30 or 32 they agreed that they have some guilt to regarding 1975.
  But how less did read this phrase in the yb while millions of WTs were spread.

  it must be a shism to explain that the "divine channel" is wrong. And about the past they dont talk because than they should DF Rutherford and Co, some guy who dont play the heavenly harp´I guess.

  So I recognize they are on their way to become a wordly religion. They find their way to egypt -trying to get public financial support like in Germany where they try since more than 10 year to become a church. That target made them change some doctrines - elections in schools, civil service instead of military service etc.
  And nowadays they call themselves RELIGION, granny Rutherford would have shit on that situation and burn down beth sarim.

  "We didn't realize the long term effects"? - seems like common sense should take over here. Why would you need a phsychologist to tell you the long term effects? It makes sense in a way, seeing as common sense is what they lack.

  I somehow sense this spin control will backfire. I think if you let her talk long enough it will make anyone watching realize the stupidity in her reasoning.

  Someone said (I forget who, please forgive me) 'they must be getting dumber'. Well, if you have an organization that perpetuates itself on people sans a college education, that's what you get.

  As far as the 'brethren' on the other side of the pond reopening sex abuse cases, I wonder if the big boyz in the borg will scold them for this. Could prove interesting.

  yes, that was part of the spiritul food dispenced at the proper time. except for the "group air bath, anyone"? that was from me of course. I'm just preparing for my golden ages. I was figuring if we do it as a group, we could even make a melody to go with it to the tune of Ghost Busters, cept we'll call ourselves the cold busters. I can start it and everyone can add some lyrics and e-mail them to me....when it's finished, we can publish it on the board in the humor forumn. Maybe the cold busters class? It might beat group hugs. Anyway...I'm getting way off topic here in an important thread. ( I'm sorry randy! ) But now you have your answer.
