What would be so difficult in making membership of a group a crime in itself? It's been done before for other far less dangerous groups.

Hi Simon, what do you think the sentence should be for this crime?

Confused......don't know why you are obsessed with the KKK and American history from 50 years ago.

Obsessed... I am showing you the obvious comparison between the two groups. One of which is allowed to operate here and still incite violence and hatred DOWN TO THIS DAY. Along with many other groups. These groups commit atrocities on the same level as ISIS just not in the same volume today.

More importantly you act as if 50 years ago is ancient history when it is a mere drop in the bucket. This is why I asked you what period is it ok to refer to in a discussion with you ?

    The 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00.

Please go and tell ISIS that they are being unreasonable and see how far you get.

Kill them, sure, I agree 100%. Hell, I'll go pull the trigger (I've guns and ammo), but really, my ONLY issue here is lumping all Muslims in or calling them faux Muslims.

    Agree 100%

It's like labelling all Brits murderous thugs for their unnecesarry and barbaric actions in N.A./S.A./ASIA/AFRICA and nearly every other possibly place their tendrils landed

Mikado: Please point out what you believe to be hate speech.

Also, please define what a 'real muslim' is. Wouldn't belief in the teachings of it's holy book be a reasonable standard? Would people who believed that book be 'real' and people who did not believe the book or ignored certain parts of it be 'less real'?

Or like saying I am a racist homophobe because I live in the Bible Belt.

    .

There is no obvious comparison between the 2 groups. The KKK never was on the same level of terror that ISIS is, and is in fact now just a shell of it's former self. I can get behind an movement of getting rid of the remaining KKK members. Start a thread on it and I will contribute. LOL

Like I implied, but now say clearly: "ISIS kill far more Muslims than they do any other religion."

That's my point! Not all Christians believe the book exactly. Not all Jews belive the writings exactly. Not all Americans believe every court ruling exactly. Not all Canadians love poutine and Tim Hortons ;)

There is room to say "these people believe in X but aren't the same as these assholes who also believe in X".
