  Some here been asking the question of . How is christianity different to Islam and the Jewish religion although the Jewish religion seems to have been enlightened ?

  Here is a passage from Galations

  chapter 3 verse 23 Before the coming of this faith we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith, for all of you were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with christ. there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ , then you are Abrahams seed , and heirs according to the promise.

  The law is shown here to be done away on many levels christians are Abrahams seed but the law came 430 years after Abraham. Also note there is neither Jew nor Gentile slave nor free. this is a real enlightenment for the Jews of Jesus day women had no validity as a witness .

  Their are many other examples that show how different Christianity is to Islam and Judiaism also Christianity was a religion oppressed by the authorities but Islam and Judiaism were both state religions.

  In particular, Simon's opinion that all Muslims are terrorists and that 'moderate' Muslims aren't 'true' Muslims is both socially irresponsible and semantically meaningless. It's no different to JWs (and many other Christian groups) who claim that only they are the 'true' Christians. cofty's statements have been similarly misleading, narrow-minded and entirely unhelpful.

  Of course the world would be better off without any of these religions based on bronze-age myths, but lumping all Muslims in as 'the enemy' is exactly what ISIS (and similar groups) want people in 'the West' to think, aiding an 'us verses them' mentality. Stop being pawns.

  You lie and say Simon's opinion is that all Muslims are terrorists when you know he didn't say that. All you Muslim sympathizers twist what people say about the ideology of islam, and try to make it like anyone against Islam is against every Muslim.

I for one am glad your leaving, perhaps you can convince others like you whom are incapable of an honest discussion on an important topic like this, to leave too, and let the adults continue their conversation.

  Fairy predictable - when some can't come up with a logically sound argument with any factual basis they resort to the tried and trusted accusations of racism and bigotry in the hope that the mere accusation will convince the casual onlooker.

  Y'know what? I think these attempts at manipulating people with this politically correct nonsense is losing its edge - people are getting wise to it and tired of it.

  You don't like someone's opinion on something? Tough ... either come up with a reasoned argument as to why it's incorrect or present new facts into the equation, otherwise go back to kindergarten and ask before you're allowed to join in conversations with grown ups.

  It's kind of ironic. I criticise ISIS - the ultimate hateful product of a hate filled religion ... and yet you think I'm the bad guy?! I think *someone* has shown up that *someone* has an axe to grind about something ...

  Now about the ones you defend, can we apply your criteria for life to them?

  Do they see the good in others? In the people they behead? In the women they rape and subjugate? In the elderly they murder? In the children they enslave? In anyone who questions their sic, pitiful excuse for a cause?

  They are sick monsters and anyone who argues their corner is a sick excuse for a human IMO.
