Par for the course for a perspective that views virtually every potential human action in the context of "sin" rather than "crime", and - despite any lip service to the contrary - holds secular, "worldly" authorities (like the police) with suspicion and contempt.

Would the WT/JW religion, if it said that from now on any allegation of a criminal nature must first of all be reported to the Authorities, be going against any "Bible based" injunction or principle ?

I think that at by now, we're long past that...
...for all intents and purposes, the Sociey views its own ideology as, if not superior to the Bible, then the only truly legitimate way of understanding it.
Besides, when they've eased up up on policies in the past, the end result - arguably - just seems to be more members skirting the rules.
