although whatever bombshell is dropped will be explained away as from Jah.

Most of their "bombshells" are nothing more than disappointing wet fizzles.

The lost defamation lawsuits caused the WBT$ to impliment the infamous "dissociated themselves" action. They did it over the military origionally. Now they do it for many things like Blood transfusions, celebrating holidays, not showing up for JC etc. This way they can argue in court that the person was warned and they made the informed decision not to comply, therefore they are in effect, willfuly accepting the consequences of quitting the organization. I don't agree but that is the argument and THEY make the rules.

We the Governing Body would like to announce that we have been "going commando"

More likely scenario: the GB have been wearing women's underwear for years. I think Tony Mo is a thong man...

To All Congs re latest announcement on

    "going commando for Jehovah"

We the GB appreciate the enthusiasm with which you brothers have been quick to implement

this direction. But it has come to our attention that in the interests of safety, all bro's assigned to

roving microphones should be especially diligent in making sure there trousers are securely zipped

in the upright postion. We don't want any nasty little surprises for the hot sisters when they get

    handed the mike.

    'Thankyou

    Your Brothers in the faith

They already unofficially shun inactive ones, so what purpose would making it official serve?

I beleive they will legally retire the legal entity of the watchtower and re-open as jw. By doing this they can insulate themselves from future law suits, and jettison all of the past doctrine, and teachings that have become an embarassment.

What if they announce that the "doors are closed" and all those on the outide of the organization, including those that are in an inactive state, cannot come back in? Like the game Musical Chairs, there are no seats left for those that don't already have one. It would be a test of faith for those with family members and friends that they still socialize with, though inactive, to suddently cut them off completely. I have been out for over 17 years but have communicated with an elder the entire time. He considered himself a friend, although he knew I would never return. I have noticed of late that he has been distancing himself from me in a way that would make me wonder if they are gearing up for something like this. I don't post much, but the speculation about what may be the action taken by them that will sound unreasonable but yet they expect them to do it anyway bothers me.

    To all congregations

In recent years Satan has increased his attacks on Jehovah's organization which has tested the faith of many as we draw ever so closer to the new system. These attacks have come in many forms but mainly through the use of imposters who have snuck into Jehovah's Christian congregation in many cities around the world. Many of these counterfeit worshipers have even attacked our children by engaging in vile sexual acts with them while holding privileges in the congregation.

This situation has resulted in much hate towards Jehovah's true followers, especially the Governing Body of Jehovah's earthly organization who is working arduously with affected congregations to mitigate the problem and restore Jehovah's reputation as a righteous God. Unfortunately, this recent problem has come at a high financial cost to Jehovah's organization as much of the donations set aside for the preaching work where the need is greater has had to be used for unjust legal expenses related to frivulous law suits.

For this reason, and after much prayerful consideration, the governing body has decided to open a deposit account which will be called the "Truth Defense Fund" and will be set up on JW.org. More details about this fund will be forthcoming. In the meantime, please accept our kindest appreciation for continuously defending Jehovah's organization as his day of judgement quickly approaches.

    With warm Christian love

    Governing Body

    Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses

    (sorry... I couldn't resist)
