Four, five and six congos to a building, I can see it now. Driving 20 miles one way for meetings even though you live in a populated city.

Yeah that will be a test of faith when they are scheduling meetings on Friday Nights and Watchtower studies on Saturday at 2pm, absolutely ruining the weekend of JWs everywhere.

Hopefully more will simply say "Screw it, I'm done here"

Yet at the same time WT is clamoring for cash under the guise they need more money to build Kingdom Halls...so there won't be four, five or six congregations sharing the same building.

    Only in WT Land...

In southern Cali they are already having 5 congs in a hall and Saturday WT studies At 10 am &2 pm...and 'raising' money to build new halls... Yeah right

They will be Installing stripper Poles on the podium of every Congregation. Hot sisters will go from Congo to Congo doing a seductive pole dance. This will test the faith of the Brothers by not being allowed to get a boner. I think their attendance will be through the roof.

Going to a KH on a Saturday would be very depressing.

Cofty: When I was a young JW we never talked about money - EVER. On the other hand we could explain what we believed.

Those days are clearly gone, on both counts!

JWs can still explain their beliefs.

"If you want to know what I believe, just go to JW.Org".

    For blondie re "ball inspections"

Whether a brother is following the direction on Going Commando for Jehovah

will become fully evident by the observance of any "movement at the station"

when he walks or is thinking of things he ought not.

    Gustv,

......you can't be serious. Do you realize that most churches have volunteer donations? Some organizations have automatic debits as well if you wish to give that way. There are entire cottage industries that deal with charitable giving and philanthropic organizations and/or specific charities being funded by others.

The branch didn't invent cloud funding. Having a local AUTONOMOUS church doing a bake sale to help their AUTONOMOUS little church run, is not pathetic. Criticizing them is what is pathetic my friend. You get apass because I can see you are very much still in the mentality.

However, consider that i know at least SOME of my money from that bake sale may actually go to helping feed some homeless, maybe help someone with substance abuse, or maybe even fund an orphanage. What does it get me with my former faith? Who knows! There is no accounting for it. All is done in secret.

What is the reason for this Gustv? Most organizations reveal their bookkeeping publicly.
