They fear losing control to such an extent, that they believe too much building up will cost them their position.
The GB are abusers. They are fleecing JWs. They remind me of SHAPE magazine. Are you familiar with it? Its a womens magazine that claims to help women become healthy by often recommending a reduced calorie diet and cardio. Its a fact that lifting weights and eating will build muscle and burn fat, thereby giving you the SHAPE a body should have naturally. STARVING yourself/cardio sets up an endless cycle of gains and losses. It also sets up an endless cycle of suscribing to SHAPE magazine!! Huzzah!!! Now you know the secret to power!
Simply abuse others by limiting their knowledge while setting up an endless cycle of dependency! No one gets in shape reading a SHAPE magazine. No one grows spiritually within the WTBTS because its designed that way! If YOU become spiritually independent and grown-up ( Christ dwelling within you according according to the Bible ) and the GB have no power! That is their worst fear and THAT is WHY they are ABUSERS.

A session of guilt, inadequacy, psychological demoralization of JW cows, "the end is near" and "obey us or else" reminders, while all guilt from Bethel reproaches globally can be passed on to the average JWs to blame, while coming off as people who counted all their everlasting eggs to soon, gloating in front of the world's "terminal" "losers", while awarding themselves the gold medal before the Olympics began as all possible psychological terror and conundrum contradiction is weaved in and out of the whole program to keep JWs up at night still not having "pleased Jehovah", pleased the "Governing Body" properly, I mean.
Seemed more like a JW psychological operation fresh re-charge of delusion priming assumptions from the Bethel elite loafers and bean counting cafeteria trolls living the life of ease on the Russell and JW dollar. Calls to mind that old "blood money" proverb my mom talked about. Its a classic JW slave hunger strike prepared by corn fed mouth stuffed Bethel elites, imo.
The main product they want JWs to soon buy fully, is yet to be unveiled imo, the "end of Bethel" sold as "the end" in general. Imo, they want JWs to buy "the end of the world" in the microcosm of Bethel's corporate world ending, not the overall global system. JWs will be the people in those leaky boats without a paddle, and dog paddling in circles, so don't forget to throw them a rope and head them in to the shore of reality when that time comes.
Can't fool all of the people, all of the time, not even in the JW Bethel tube of lies and illusions.
