Thanks for the updates.
It's no wonder they don't want this recorded, they would never dare to print this stuff.
I can't believe they didn't say anything about bathers.

after the part about bloodguilt and inactive shaming -myself being one of these inactive ones who didn't attend todays blessed event - my husband wonders why I declined to attend a bbq being held after at one of the brothers/sisters homes
What a disappointment.
The best part was hearing the tight pants talk live.
I believe I am going to need one martini per hour of my life wasted.
Ok so a few more comments I'm sure you will all enjoy
In Tony's 2nd talk (aka closing prayer) he mentioned that the bethel family is undergoing a viscous attack right now - a reference to the pedo lawsuits?
Also he prayed to jah that we would accept the direction we'd just gotten because it came from Jesus, not the US branch.
Afterwards everyone looked bewildered by the sheer insanity of the closing talk. Lots of women saying things like "I'm glad I didn't wear my leggings today" my favorite comment though was from my wife: "that was the most bizarre meeting I've ever sat through"
Maybe it was a test of faith afterall. Tony needs to start checking out quarries for a good price on a millstone.
These loons are going to be the end of this stupid cult, .. here's hoping anyhow.
As uneventful as predicted
No mention of "higher education"?
Billy - shockingly, I didn't catch any. They could've snuck it in while I was chatting in the back with an elder (who was taking the lead in making fun of Tony's idiocy, no less) though, but I'm petty sure they skipped it.
If the "inactive" are "blood guilty", isn't it a short leap to being "disassociated by their actions" and worthy of shunning. Now that would be a "test of faith", especially for family members.
I'd ask Tony,"So,it's Jehovah's fault,Satan and a third of the angels left?". How very encouraging, not!
I'm so glad I'm out. I know my mother wanted me to go,fortunately,I had to work today, hahaha. First time,I was grateful for working a Saturday.
