I believe that gods and goddesses are functions of life that exists within our daily lives. We invoke these gods and goddesses daily either consciencely or sub-consciencely through our actions. Life itself is eternal.
Do You Believe In God Or Not?

I stopped believing in God during my time in Bethel (while still serving as an elder). I do not believe the bible is anything more than an interesting book, it has some value, yes, contains some wisdom even, but I do not believe it is in any way "divine" or of supernatural origin. I do not believe there is any "God" who cares about me or anyone else.
Similarly, I do not believe Jesus Christ was any more than a wise, insightful man, in as much as there have been many wise, insightful men and women down thru the ages. In the same way, I don't believe in Angels, Demons or Satan. I am now an Atheist.
Farkel is right, you do not have to believe in God to remain in good standing in the Watchtower Society. Of course you'd have to keep that fact under your hat and continue to go thru the motions, but no-one will question your core beliefs if you appear to be "walking the talk".
The conclusion I have come to is that God exists if you want him to. If you believe that God exists then he does - for you. If believing helps you cope with life and sleep soundly at night then that's great. But for me, all that maters is that you are happy, do what you can to help others, and if you are especially lucky you might even find someone to love who will love you back.

I believe completely in Jesus Christ who is my Lord, God, Master, and King.

Does WANTING to believe in God count? I would love to have faith like I once did. I don't think I ever will be that blind in faith again. I would have to see a miracle , witness something to be sure...... but then again I would probably believe I was crazy for sure.
I guess only God knows if I believe , I sure don't know. One day I do, one day I dont. ?????
I understand how you feel.
I would like to share a Bible Verse with you:
Mark 9:23: Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."
Mark 9:24: Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, "I believe. Help my unbelief!"Jesus loves you.

Yes - as I exist - I did not exist of my doing, and my parents simply participated in God - they lived in the Aventure, which is God - and now, I am, and I am existing in this Adventure - and the Adventure is good for me, and has been good to me.
Some may say "how can God be good if bad things have happened" - but God created autonomy - if he made it so no bad things could happen then people would not be autonomous.
He created us to be God, but it seems we want to stay here because we don't trust the Adventure, to the point of harming our fellow and creation - even though every one of us exists.

Even as kid being raised as a dub I never truly believed in a god. Thousands of kids die every day from preventable diseases yet loving merciful god does f### all to prevent this, yet he helps tennis players and golfers make fortunes, Ireckon there is something not quite right there.

Mark 9:24: Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, "I believe. Help my unbelief!"That is my point: Anything is possible if you believe it's possible. If this account of the demonised boy being healed is true, for it could well be a story made up to supply proof to a dogma, then it appeared to come true because the people involved wanted it to. They chose to interpret the evidence before them as being of divine origin.
But how do you know there wasn't another perfectly rational explanation of this boys cure that did not involve any kind of supernatural power? Just because you choose to believe that Jesus had supernatural powers, or was some kind of divine being, doesn't necessarily make it true.

No I'm definitely an Athiest. I'm quite sure that God likes athiests better than the idiots that pretend to like him.

Minimus, I believe in a Creator, not God, because anything and anyone can be made god or a god. The word Creator when spoken in my ancestors native tongue translates, "One who made us". For me not to believe in a Creator is to believe that I have no natural parents.
Anyone that wants to believe that Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse or the wind is their God, that's OK with me. Their not answerable to me.

I certainly believe in a Supreme Being whom I call God and pray to almost daily. I do so because I have seen a power operating in my life which is not just random and I see this same power in the creation round about me. I acknowledge this with thanks.
However I do not believe in any man made religion because I truly believe that it is "a snare and a racket"(tm)
