While God watches....

How incredibly stupid does someone have to be to think that atheists actually blame god for anything. What a sad attempt to defend contradictions in one's own belief system.

And the whole 'free will' argument is moot. No one has absolute free will (besides a posited omnipotent and omnibenevolent sky-god being). All 'free will' is relative. We don't have free will to walk off a cliff and not fall (gravity always wins). There are natural boundries and human-imposed boundries to our free will. It's universal that certain behavior is not acceptable, including murder and rape. Having a Police Officer or even God come in to stop a murder or rape (or any other horrific crime or situation) does not hamper the free will of the perpetrator any more than it does the victim.

    Rem,

Right. Arguing that athiests deserve to burn forever if they don't believe in God is as morally bankrupt as it comes.

    Also,

If someone tries to play the 'free will' card and say it would be hypocritical for god to step in to end suffering, they are basically already admitting that god is a hypocrite. There are many instances recorded in the bible where god supposedly stepped in and hampered with people's free will - even 'hardening the hearts' of some. Why is it okay for god to mess with free will in some situations and not in others? Therefore the free will argument is complete bunk.

    Yiz,

I can quote scriptures from the Koran that show that only Allah is the way to be saved. Your passages from your holy book have no more backing than any other 'inspired' writing. Why should I believe your book to be any more inspired than any other holy book? Why should I believe any of them to be inspired. These are obviously questions you have never examined.

Wow, Yizuman's credulity is quite evident. Falling for hoaxes and 'evidence' that has been debunked years ago isn't going to make case. Ignoring failed prophecies in the bible doesn't make your case. Ignoring the fact that many of what you call 'prophecies' in the bible are not prophecies at all doesn't make your case. Yizuman is willing to put his faith in any old crackpot that can provide 'evidence' for his faith. What next? Are you going to tell us they found Noah's Ark? lol

    Edited to add:

I wonder if Yizuman believes that Shakespeare's plays are non-fiction because they happen to contain the names of real people and places. Someone really needs to learn how to distinguish good arguments from bad ones. A lesson in logic would do well here.

    LOL

OK, Yiz, you win. I can't fight with the ark!

I believe now. In fact I believe anything people tell me now because I no longer need extraordinary evidence for extraordinary claims. The bible is true, the koran is true, the book of morman is true. Aliens are visiting us, I can bend spoons with my mind, and Bigfoot is knocking on my front door. Basically I am an idiot. Thank you, Yiz, we are all now dumber for listening to you.

    Earth to Yiz,

Ron Wyat is not an archeologist. He is a charlatan and a fraud. None of his 'discoveries' have been published in peer reviewed archeological journals. Why? Because his work is awful. You, sir, are one naive, credulous child. Clearly you have not looked at the other side of the story. (Proverbs 18:17)

Ok I stand corrected as I am not afraid of being wrong in these articles I have found and I didn't not realize these claims have not been substantiated. I read about these stories years ago and did not follow up on them later. So it is my fault I didn't check both sides of the story before confirming them.

However, there is one thing that I would like to ask about is what I had posted earlier about the City of Babylon linked below...

What say you on this subject matter?

Thank you for linking me some articles on this matter.
