I also don't think that we should allow ourselves to be influenced by our being quoted for malicious purposes anywhere else. Even if you do read stuff, just don't let it get to you. If you stand back and view it objectively, the whole thing becomes laughable, and the lies blatantly obvious.

For instance (note to Moderators: if you don't want what follows to remain, feel free to edit), my post above was quoted, and the one line reply was:

Cowardly like your joking about Amanda being stalked on Animal's board.

Now, as of this moment I've made 60 posts on that particular board. Most of them are stupid oneliners, therefore it only took me about 5 minutes to reread them all. Guess what? "Amanda" or "Moe" are not mentioned in a single one of those 60 posts, let alone being mentioned in a joking manner!

When you see stuff like this, it helps to put the whole thing into perspective.

I am truly sorry that you are being hurt.

just hope that you will find your inner peace and strenght to stay head above some really insignificant people in your life.From your posts I get an impression that you are nice and truly kind person,devoted to your family and friends and that is all that matters.And from all these posts with support you can draw comfort that there are much more of us who think highly of you and respect you.

I'm so sorry you had that happen! It's so hurtful when things get so mean. I love your posts and, after having just met you last weekend, I feel that you're a genuinely nice person that i would be glad to have as a friend.

The thread in question seems to consist of petty accusations, invasive false speculations, & childishly cruel insults. It's like a rough bar in a bad neighborhood, imo. I'm really thankful Simon and the moderators keep it so civil here.

I hope you can take solace in the fact that they don't know you, so It's just bitchness ; probably mixed with low self esteem that seems to make them feel the need to attack to gain admiration and to make them feel powerful.

Nina is right, I had so much to say but instead put it in a PM to you. Well, screw them.

You know Mulan your not what they say at all, You have always been kind and sweet and I have always thought you are a beautiful person inside and out. See what they dont realize is that they no matter what their exterior is are ugly by the choices they make and the words they use.

Nor am I butt ugly (funny she is the only person in my WHOLE life to call me anything like that) Nor is my Thunder what they said either.

I know what I am and what I am not and I will not let some psycho people affect me anymore. I know how my Thunder is and I believe they are not good enought to even walk in his shadow

I am very hurt that some that I cared and respected continue to go there and think that by not saying hurtful things they are any different. By going there and interacting with such people you become party to what they say. Also, by not defending your "friends" you are no better than they.
