If we distrusted someone for lying......we'd have to had dumped our parents long ago. Everyone lies.......yet these same ones do good also. It's a catch 22. We need government.....yet it's all crooked.

I think I'm gonna become a dub again and look to Jehovah's Kingdom in the hands of Jesus to wipe out all this nonsense since it isn't for man to direct his steps.

We all know politicians lie just look at past presidents like Bill Clinton but when people die because of those lies than those liars should be held accountable.

Good point WmPenwell--it's the degree and damage the lie does. A lie about private intimacies or a lie that does so much damage and causes so many deaths is hardly the same.

Black and white thinking is never a good thing.

    Ben,

Apperantly the Iraqi People had nothing to do with the war. They were just under the brutal law of Saddam Hussein. They weren't getting they're loved ones killed.

I don't think it would be at all wrong with President Bush to apologize to them. They are worse off so far, and they're loved ones are dead.

Get a grip people. Find out what's going on right in Iraq right now, and see how they're lives have changed. For god's sake, they did nothing wrong. And they're loved ones are dead.

Think how your "enemy" thinks. They think a hell of a lot differently.

I was going to let this entire thread pass until I read this line...PROOF...since we're talking about lies...where's the proof. Fewer people have died during the war and it's aftermass than would have been murdered by Saddam, who seems to have managed 10,000 a year. The economy there is growing...and they can protest things they don't like...so how are the worse off?

War is too profitable. I'd love to see the politicians of the world out on the field shedding each other's blood.

I have no illusions about the WTS or any legal system. If the some people within it have abandoned all moral and ethical values, and the system is totally corrupt, no one is safe.

Blonde wrote that in another thread, I like that concept.

I have no doubt that the American govt is not too be trusted. I can not feel sorrow or compasion for a people that would delude themselves so greatly. If the govt of this country ever turns on its citizens, I feel that they/we all richly deserve it.

    I've never read The Advocate.

And if being a "Real Man" means that I have to subscribe to a narrow simplistic worldview commonly held by A$$H0113$ who don't even know they are just drones for the system, then that's O.K. with me. I prefer to be Human.

Now if you want to just go chew some tobacco and read something Republican, then I'm all for that too.

FWIW, I dislike ALL politicans. You can call me a Fag any day, I don't care. But when you call me a "Liberal", that pisses me off.

With all due respect, since when did Americans have the monopoly on dishonest policticians?

They don't ... which is why I included our own government / Prime Minister.

However, the US does interfere in foreign countries and has bigger impact than any other.

Fewer people have died during the war and it's aftermass than would have been murdered by Saddam, who seems to have managed 10,000 a year

Is that going off the bogus figures that the Pentagon puts out or the real figures?
