    thichi,

If you do the Math, we are spending more on Iraq?s freedom (and infastructure) than we could ever make up in oil.

you still assume that the US gov. is working for you! sadly they are working for themselfs and their industrial supporters.

I agree these freakin big SUV's and Big Ram 4 wheel drive trucks, I just don't see the need of them.

Then don't buy one. I have a freakin big SUV and I love it. It fits my family of four plus all the kids friends and all the stuff we want to haul around in it. They are so incredibly safe too.

There is more to life than gas mileage, but then, I don't have to drive much either. Some days I opt to drive my somewhat smaller SUV.

The WTS should give away its windbagging gassy rags for free, instead of charging for them.

Oh! You meant gasoline! I meant methane! Sorry.

No offense, but you sound kinda like the "What Would Jesus Drive?" crowd. Personally? I think he'd drive a big Chevy Suburban or a Ford Excursion or maybe even the original Humvee ... room for all 12 of his buddies, great traction on those unpaved desert roads, and plenty of towing capacity for the fishing boat.

    Thanks Dan-O.

Hey Realist, tell Jesus he can hop a ride in my Excursion or Land Cruiser any ol' time.

    Dan,

i don't think so ...jesus appears to have been a rather reasonable person.

    Princess,

your name speaks for itself. you seem quite ignorant and self absorbed. have you heard about limited resources, global warming, pollution and so on? it seems not.

do you care about the future of your children or is your comfort the most important thing in the world for you?

Maybe we'll agree to disagree, Realist. I agree that Jesus must have been a reasonable guy ... the scriptures say he liked hanging out with his buds, liked travelling, liked to have an occasional nip of the grape, and went fishing. What better vehicle for a guy like JC than an SUV? Maybe a Fleetwood, such as the one pictured below ... it's diesel powered, so it's more fuel efficient.

The way I see it, if Princess or anyone else can afford two SUVs & their fuel, then more power to her. After all, JC was a carpenter's son. You know how much a union construction worker can make?

I'm quite sure the future of my children is more certain in our SUV than in some roller skate that you'd have me drive.

You sound like an elder telling us to drive a four door. My 2004 Excursion is spewing out fewer pollutants than most of the cars on the road today. I'm pumping thousands into the economy and I pay for my own gas.

    You know where to go.
