No, actually I have seen hundreds of posts here that praised good men and women of the congregation - including elders. I have made many myself. But many are as you state! And they are often discussed here. Just like you justify the organization by pointing out in your 'field service' the dispicable actions of the religious leaders in your area to discredit them, and to prove they are not holders of truth! Same thing.

I think hypocrite might apply to those who believe the watchtower dogma whilst secretly visiting this board. They know that telling the elders would bring immediate censure, or disfellowshipping.

Like you dos - --- do you meet the description you post here?

This is EXACTLY what I was talking about the other day, when I said this organization BREEDS HYPROCRISY.

They lay out all these rules and people jump through hoops and many have secrets or lies they tell because they are just human. He hides he wants to look at porn, and since when is this grounds for a DIVORCE???? I thought only adultry was grounds for divorce, if it's on the screen how is it possible for his wife to get a "scriptural" divorce? And they DF'd him for this too. It just doesn't make sense.

They can't have their members not following every rule, yet many can't seem to be able to fit into the mold and do it all.... The honest people get DF'd while the people good at hiding and lying stay in "good standing"

It's all just craziness to me.

Ok to the the poster that will not be labelled, you should read the story before commenting. There were other elders in the cong and some were very nice people who genuinely loved Jah and were only trying to do the right thing. The elder I was writing about was the worst of the worst. And he was a hypocrite. You gotta practice what you preach.
