Am I right about the WT being wrong?

Thanks for confirming my theory about the limits of liberalism when it comes to the apostate worldview.

The argument is totally flawed. It sort of exposes your desperate need to put things in nice little boxes. Watchtower here, "apostates" there. Something you've just criticized.

It's hard to believe how a person who's been around on this forum for a while fails to notice the great variety of views presented here and comes up with the notion of "apostate worldview"?

If it is so wide, this apostate worldview, then how come I am a "troll" when:

    1. I don't know whether to believe all/any of what Jehovah's Witnesses say, and

    2. I am inactive>?

Sure there is a great variety on this board on many things. But on the falseness of the Witnesses all apostates must be agreed, lest they be decried as "TROLLS".

Apostates are just as wrong as Jehovah's Witnesses, surely.

    Slim,

I would sincerly like to know what you really believe, and what you sometimes have doubts about. I have many doubts, sometimes. But not while I'm busy on here or studying & researching the Bible.

    sbf,

So a view on the WTS is a "worldview" for you?

You could be correctly labelled a troll if you only stir things up without any point to it. Many people have sincerely asked you what particular beliefs of the JW's you are unsure about so as to provide you with information to help you make a thoughtful decision. I haven't read all your posts so maybe I missed it, but I've never seen you actually say what it is you are unsure about.

Apostates are not "wrong" because they don't claim to represent anything. There is no apostate organization that we all agreed to. We hold differing views on things, we're all wrong about something. But there is no apostate worldview. We've even had lively threads about what good there is to be found among Jehovah's Witnesses. There is some, and it's acknowledged by many. If you didn't have to take it all -- good and bad -- some would probably go back.

I doubt that anyone is right - that is my main area of doubt.

    Dave,

I bet sbf is not going to understand your point. Or he'll pretend he hasn't. His problems are manifest in his use of the label "apostate". If you think of it, it's part of the WTS terminology. That's the point. Things are only binary for those who are still Jehovah's Witnesses.

Either you are in "God's organization" or you are not.
If God's organization does not have the Truth than who does?

It's like demanding a direct answer to the following question from a man who is gay and has never been married: when exactly did you start beating your wife?

Surely? Is that as far as you can understand things to this point in time?
