    Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13-14

    Notice. Many go to destruction. Few find eternal life. We can be one of the few. It's up to us.

    Here's my position. I don't think there are any good arguments for either theism or atheism, so I must not accept either of them and be agnostic. From what I have observed, it seems that people usually don't become either theists or atheists because of any argument, but for personal reasons. When I see people arguing about such a complicated issue online, I don't see much argumentation but instead a clash of conflicting intuitions and some name-calling now and then. Here's a link to an essay by the philosopher Graham Oppy that more or less reflects my stance on the issue and he better describes this position than I ever could:

    Hibiscus ask yourself if you are cultivating harmony? Didn't Jesus too ask his followers to work in harmony?

    Cultivate harmony within yourself, and harmony becomes real;
    Cultivate harmony within your family, and harmony becomes fertile;
    Cultivate harmony within your community, and harmony becomes abundant;
    Cultivate harmony within your culture, and harmony becomes enduring;
    Cultivate harmony within the world, and harmony becomes ubiquitous.

    Live with a person to understand that person;
    Live with a family to understand that family;
    Live with a community to understand that community;
    Live with a culture to understand that culture;
    Live with the world to understand the world.

    How can I live with the world?
    By accepting.

    Accept the way of the I-Ching. Accept the englightenment the Buddha's hold out.

    Could be how one think yes....because we did not get the food we needed.

    Man cannot live by bread alone.

    But all in all God will guide us into truth if we really seek it.

    The Lord is not? willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

    Hib

    Good one, you are catching on to Bible study instead of selective Bible reading. Ask yourself, if Gods will was to create this universe, some achievement, then can his will that no one should perish also be achieved by God? Now why not connect this with 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 and similar scriptures that many christians choose to ignore, like the ones I mentioned on about page 3 or 4 of this thread. Are you really following the Bible in a holistic way, or following your chosen denomination's collection of men's teachings?
