Gotcha Kwin, so that means she can see everything we say but cant reply. Great. Let the games begin. Did you notice how AFIN got really worked up about the hubby cheating thing? I mean she took it personal and not even close to the way i said it. I wonder if she has a problem like that and it just hit home for her. Obviously her emotions took over and she didnt even read the post.

I believe a friend in need responded to many of the questions that were asked of her when she posted this earlier (rather arrogant and condescending, imo):

Please explain what that meant about the pearls.
"Do not give what is holy to dogs, neither throw your pearls before swine, that they may never trample them under their feet and turn around and rip you open." ~ Matthew 7:6 NWT This is the explanation, from the WTS's own reference book Insight on the Scriptures:
*** it-2 p. 594 Pearl ***
Evidently Jesus meant that, if a person shows that he is like a dog or a swine, with no appreciation for spiritual things, one should not further endeavor to share spiritual thoughts and teachings with him. Such corrupt persons would only trample upon valuable spiritual things and abuse or injure anyone endeavoring to share these with them. Jesus also illustrated the preciousness of the Kingdom of the heavens by speaking of "one pearl" of such high value that a traveling merchant seeking fine pearls "promptly sold all the things he had and bought it." (Mt 13:45, 46) Thereby Jesus showed that an individual appreciating the true worth of gaining the Kingdom of the heavens would be willing to part with everything in order to gain it.—Compare Mt 11:12; Lu 13:23-25; Php 3:8-11.
Unfortunately, that is how many JWs view challenges to their point of view, as casting pearls before swine - wasting spiritual "pearls" of wisdom on "corrupt" swine-like individuals who do not appreciate spiritual things. Rather insulting, actually.

cyp ... do you remember what Jesus said about pearls?
So anytime you hear a question you don't like, you just label the asker a swine, and whatever you have to offer as pearls?
Hey, whatever let's you look yourself in the mirror, I guess.
That sounds a lot like cowardice to me. Have you considered a more objective method?
I am not sure the verse was used by Jesus to justify shirking difficult questions. I think it was more of a suggestion that time could be better spent talking to those who are open to the message of repentance and salvation, as opposed to those who simply spit upon such words.
See in the analogy, the person with the pearls is doing the action, he is "casting". The pigs never asked for the pearls.
In my case, I am asking. I am waiting for your pearls, or any other jw. The simple fact is that I only care about serving Jehovah and following him in truth. If I apply a scriptural test, and your organization passes it, I will have to acknowledge that.
The question is if your organization doesn't, what will you do?
What will you do if you find your beloved religion contradicting Jehovah? You cannot serve two masters. Who really has your loyalty?
The simple fact is that in 1919, when Jesus was making his examination, your organization was falsely claiming that Christ returned in 1874. This sort of behavior was clearly described as the actions of a false prophet.
Why would Christ select a false prophet?
You will likely say that they were the only ones teaching that Jesus was not God, the soul is not eternal, hell is not hot, we don't go to heaven but will live on a restored earth... but that isn't true either. The Christadelphians were teaching identical doctrine in 1919, as was the Iglesia Ni Cristo.

or you could just "get up, brush yourself off, and move on as if nothing happened"
I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you haven't read my response....
...for awhile. I have nothing better to do. I am still waiting for a response from those other dubs.
Please don't ever leave AFIN!! I love you and respect you so much for coming here. I am not being sarcastic!!! It has to be tough to come here and duke it out with all these knowledgeable former dubs.
Take care of yourself. Jesus loves you.

I have taken AFIN to task for a single statement she made:
I have not seen an elder refuse to answer any honest request, in fact they are most happy to.
I have many examples of the elders refusing to answer an honest request. These requests came not from me, but my sincere JW husband. I offered to share those examples with AFIN. She said she cannot judge based on my one-sided, biased presentation. Even before I shared these examples, she refuses to admit that elders fail. Her advice by PM was that my husband should continue to persist, even writing to HQ if required.
Must a lost lamb bleat louder?
Here, for the board to judge, since AFIN refuses to, are the honest questions my husband posed to the elders. In all cases, the elders have not responded.
- I received a notice to appear as a jury member. Can JW's be on a jury?
- My blood card is ten years old and I have not yet been reinstated as a publisher. How do I get a new card?
- I have completed two additional book studies and have faithfully attended the meetings these past three years. I have humbly considered my motives, and I am ready to be accepted in to field service. Am I ready?
