I agree with you that they are afraid of lawsuits. But because of all the commotion, publicity and strong emotions on this particular subject we will never know what they may have done. I am also aware that the average dub is not aware of the rumblings about this.

Whether they make reforms or not, all the victories in the world won't bring back anybody who died over this.

By the way, this is not a 'funny' subject, it's not one of those things to troll around with and 'pull legs'...many of us have experienced very personal losses of friends and family, because of the GB's deadly edicts. I tend to think that's a "big deal," don't you ?

I am truly sorry for your loss. Some people really do believe that taking blood is wrong, and it is not for me to say they are not allowed to take that view.

The point I am making is that extremists respond to strong opposition by becoming more extreme. The more apostates push the governing body into a corner, the more they will dig their heels in. This is obvious, but apostates don't seem to realise they are sometimes their own worst enemy. That is all I am saying, and I am really sorry if my manner of saying it has offended you. I cannot put myself in your position.

If the murdering swine on the Governing Body were blameless then I could agree with you. however, for 150 years the WTBTS has pushed its apostate lies on the world so its about time they took some responsibility for their heinous deeds.

No apostates do not have blood on their hands, that lies squarely on the shoulders of the GB but I do understant what you mean. If the WT have dug their heels in and then turn on the R&F with even strickter policies on things like shunning then this really shows them up for what they are.

Not many JWs have a clue whats going on, I didnt till last year when I came on the internet and im sure glad for all those apostates who revealed the truth to me or I could be still locked into that crap.

Thank you for recognizing and feeling sorry for my loss and that of others due to the Blood Issue.

Now, to use another dark chapter in JWism: Are you even aware of the prohibition of vaccines by the ruling class of JW leaders ? That the American Medical Association was part of a 'conspiracy' to make people sick on purpose...so they could treat them for money ? Yep. Fact !

Embarrassment, public pressure, bad PR and yes...apostates all indeed put pressure on the GB. Can you possibly imagine this world without vaccinations against disease ???

One of the 'roles' I see for X-JW's is a "media" type. We are the "investigative" reporters as well as the 'fluff' types. There are also X-JW's that remind me of rag magazines like, "The National Inquirer."

Either way, the "Squeaky wheel get's the grease." We squeak, yell, scream, reason and have a lot of hurt that we tell others about.

That is why the GB considers us such a dangerous enemy...we expose their lies. We cannot make them change, but, we can bring the force of public opinion to bear heavily down on their shoulders.
