All appointed men are being told they have to pioneer now!

yes, you read correctly..... all appointed men have been told in a new letter that they have to pioneer to "set the lead" whenever there is a "special" campaign month.

they use some scripture saying that these ones have to show by example.... so for any of us who are appointed and have learned ttatt, it is going to be very hard to fade during this time!.

i need help finding articles please!.

discussions have arisen where a bro has firmly stated that "the society has never stated 1975" , and that "we" never said the system would be over in a specific time.. i know there was also the article re education in 1968 ish?.

I thought Sinutko was the one relishing the slaughter of billions of humans (didn't he specifically mention homosexuals too?), describing the piles of rotting corpses and how Jehovah might use antimatter to make the corpses disappear.

Or am I conflating different wacky talks and speakers?

607 vs 587 BC - Cyrus Cylinder

hi everyone,.

i'm researching 587 vs 607 for the date of the destruction of jerusalem... i'm not doing the research to prove or disprove anything about 1914, rather i'm looking at these dates in comparison to 1948 & 1967.. what is your view on relying on the cyrus cylinder, to accept 607 as the correct date of destruction... i know that there are many other factors.. but i'm trying to keep this portion of my research as simple as possible, so i'm primarily interested in the appropriateness of using the cylinders date of 537 + 70 = 607. one other question.. is it likely that both dates 587 & 607 have their own significance?.

Jeffro, OK, so different commentators interpret differently and draw the past/future line at different places. It's a while since I looked into that part of Daniel and I presently have little patience with untangling all the various views. Each view will have its own rationale behind it.

i thought this might need a new thread.. the memorials i have heard about multiple ones noted the prayer ending with something like "jesus our mediator".. sams on another thread :.

The r&f (including 'other sheep' elders - I've heard some of them!) think Jesus is their mediator. They take 1 Tim. 2:5 at its word and forget (if they ever really knew) the Org. teaches that Jesus is not their mediator.

... At a time when God was selecting those to be taken into that new covenant, the apostle Paul wrote that Christ was the “one mediator between God and men.” (1 Tim. 2:5) Reasonably Paul was here using the word “mediator” in the same way he did the other five times, which occurred before the writing of 1 Timothy 2:5, referring to those then being taken into the new covenant for which Christ is “mediator.” So in this strict Biblical sense Jesus is the “mediator” only for anointed Christians.

so i was df'd a couple weeks ago.

i live in a place where i didn't really have new friends at the kh, so my day to day life isn't changing.

i'm just me living life like i was 2 weeks ago and 2 years ago.

Ridiculous. That'll mess up your daughter's head. If they want to be in your granddaughter's life, then they should act normally (at least civilly) with you and not play games.
