How do I get the COBE to pay back the money he and his ripped off from my ex-wife, he's the guy who claims he make's Pedophiles Holy by YHWH's power!
by PhilsWager2 inthe cobe of the local kingdom hall never paid my ex-wife for the work done because they promised they would use "trade" to reimburse close to $5000 worth of work.
as you can imagine nobody here would like him because he believes all the pedophiles can change their ways after the child sex offenders have proved their humility by bowing before the judicial committees.
this is how honest jehovah's witnesses are, they changed her work from a 1200 sq.

I wouldn´t report to Bethel... I learned the hard way, if there is something illegal going on, report it to the authorities. -

The Power Of "IF"
by dubstepped inso, the whole may money grab episode of jwtv really looks bad to me and many others, obviously many here.
i was looking on another website dedicated to active jw's and if you'll notice on post number 109 a little ways down (<click there to read) a person named luca dares to express some concerns over the latest episode.
the following pages do contain one more person that has some issue with how things were presented.

I think the GB is on a pedestal because they have put themselves there. As you probably know, ones that were around in the 70s and before, didn't know who the GB were, or what money was needed or the names of the GB. At least, in the 50s, 60s,70s and 80s I don't remember ever hearing of them. Now, every prayer, every meeting mentions the GB. The Governing Body has gone public. It was much better the other way, when they were silent and anonymous. The Witnesses that have been around for a long while don't worship the GB or COs or Pioneers or Elders. We were taught that the only inspired writing was in the Bible, that the GB, anointed and so on, have no more insight than you or me. That is still true. No one is infallible, including the GB, as examples of fallen ones that were members of the GB are part of WT's history. Not all JWs are stupid, uneducated or blind followers. Nor do all JWs believe that all is perfect within the GB, WT and every congregation. I hear and read often, "sheep are stupid" (quote from the Awake Mag and discussed on this and other forums). The religion has deteriorated, and I feel sorry for the r & f. No thinks of them as any more than dunces who take up space in the KH. Sad....the religion is becoming pathetic and sad. Too many rules, too much hardship and depression and too much idol worship. I believe that, someday, it will fall apart, not because of Jehovah God, or Jesus, but because one can't squeeze blood from a turnip. It's just a matter of time. -

Did You Feel Bad For the JW Dishwasher-Cook Who Quit His Job (May JW Broadcasting)To Avoid Attending Later Meetings? He Pioneered on Welfare or Unemployment!
by RoyalFlushPhil indid you watch the story about the jw who was working as a burger boy at some diner and his boss wanted him to work on sunday during the time of his meeting?
this faithful jw decided he could not attend a later meeting (6 pm sunday meeting) and soon quit his job(or got fired to attend his sunday meeting) so he could attend the sunday meeting he was assigned to.
i think he was on welfare because this story states he won't work on sunday morning because that's when his meeting is!

First of all, I don't believe this is true, as stated previously, a short-order cook with 3 kids and a wife could not afford the lifestyle he was living. Secondly, no one in their right mind would quit a job for a meeting if there was another meeting he/she could attend, quite easily, in its place. It makes me very sad, the fake stories, the asking for millions of dollars, changing teachings without an apology, engaging in stupid antics "Have the Time of Your Life" so people will attend the conventions. Where's the bible, Jehovah and Jesus in all of this? A couple of elders came to my house a couple of months ago, and, somehow we started talking about 1975. One of the elders said, "The brothers (r&f) got carried away and looked forward to the end coming in 1975". I told him, "NO, it was the GB and the WT who told us that 1975 was the end....I know, because I was there." Neither elder said a word, how could they, it was the truth.
One time at a circuit assembly the speaker was talking about the ills of higher education. At that time, my daughter was in the university, was baptized and regular in service. I was and still am (she has her Phd in economics and works at the FDA in D.C.) super-proud of her. Anyway, after his talk I took my daughter and went to the speaker. I said, "Why must we always be told of the evils of education? My daughter is attending the university. She grew up with a group of 8 young people at our KH, the other kids had prominent parents (I was and still am a nobody). And do you know what? She is the only one left of that group still attending the meetings and going out in service." He looked at me as if I should die on the spot. Now, THAT'S a true story. I am just tired of the fakery....be honest, especially if you are supposed to be following Jesus.... Please don't tell lies, half-truths and make up stupid tales. I hate that. Please be accountable for your statements..... I have to be, why can't the GB do the same? I have been attending the KH for 61 years...there are a million true stories. Anyway, thanks for letting me go on and on.
Take Care,
AB

I won't click 'dislike' even if I do dislike the comment...but I think I accidentally clicked on a dislike yesterday, but couldn't get it to 'like',,,I'm not sure because there were so many 'dislikes'. I'm sorry for the 'dislike' for whatever I accidentally 'disliked', if, indeed, I did click 'dislike'. Can't remember which post it was.

Can they disfellowship my father?
by cookiemaster inthis has nothing to do with my facebook endeavors.
when the elders visited us last week, they also discussed my father.
my mother called them about him.

If a person feels free to abuse and kill animals, he/she will have no problem, at some time, abusing or killing people. He needs help. Disfellowshipping is the least of your worries. Take care of your mom, find a way. He's sick. -
