Warning all Canadians............

i've been looking round for a holiday for this summer, and found for virtually the same price i could fly to canada and go backpacking.
i know i want to go down to niagara falls, but i'm still looking at all the guides to see which other places i want to go to, and working out if i'm best off hiring a car or using the bus/train to get around.

How would a JW answer , "Why does Jehovah allow children to be abused ?"

why does jehovah allow our children in the congregation to be abused (physically and sexually) by others in the kingdom hall ?.
were not children, the most important to jesus and jehovah ?.

Probably......'Jehovahs abhors the abuse and suffering of defenceless children.(sympathetic face)
When awful things like this happen he hurts for them physically and feels the pain they are suffering.
But since Satan was hurled to the earth there are wicked ones in this world who pray on the innocent,yes, even children.Unfortunately, just as we would allow our children to undergo a painful operation for later relief from a debilitating, life threatening condition; so, our loving heavenly father also allows pain and suffering to occur..UNTIL the time he sees fit to sort out mankind...
After all dos'nt the bible warm us that in the last days' men will be lovers of men.....blah blah.. but in the New System all these things will be forgotten..would you like me to show you, from this book (show book-mention that it's freely given...) what Jehovah has in store for you and your family?'

If you had an accident................
by Gadget inif you had an accident today and were in hospital unconscious, would your jw family members consent to you having a blood transfusion?
even if they were aware that you no longer believe and are not bound by the rules anymore would their conscience not allow them to grant the appropriate permissions and so make you take the risks of not accepting treatment?

I had 'no blood transfusions ' written on my medical records so my family could'nt overrule me-and I told then about it-I guess you could do the reverse as I have now.Or you could give them my number and i'll sort them out...

Did The "Ressurection Hope" Keep You Involved As A Witness?
by minimus ini know a number of persons that remained as jws because they desperately wanted to see their loved ones come back from the grave and be there to welcome them.
they were afraid that if they died at armageddon or were not totally faithful that there would be a great possibility of never seeing them again........was that "ressurection hope" a big draw for you remaining a witness?

I stayed for longer than I felt comfortable, without any evidence to back up my feelings but because of the resurection hope I clung on. It was a relief to find out the Society had skeletons and were falable like everyone else...but very upseting for a long time as I realised with my faith destroyed by the WTBS , i'll never see my mother again.
