On Saturday... I decided to dump all my literature
by tak init felt good!
i took that huge plastic bin that contained multiple copies of all the books given out by the society, all the old wt and awake's that i had, the year books, etc..... and threw into the city dump.
my boyfriend thought i should maybe bring the literature back to them and i said "hell no.... so they can give it out to more innocent people.. he agreed.

Did they make you cry?
by sacolton innot me personally, but my brother-in-law was to give a talk and wasn't completely prepared.
his talk wasn't long enough.. the elder took him to the back room and belittled him to the point where he cried.
i guess this is what they mean by.

I was fading away. I was fading because of the gossip and lies against me. I was home and there was a knock on the door. I always look through the peep hole to see who is there. My mom who was visiting me at the time open up the door and let the PO and some guy in his late 20s in to my living room. They were making a shepherding call saying I have to go back to the meetings ETC. Then this young guy started to be very cold and direct with me asking me when was the last time I went to the KH. You have to go to the meetings! Just then my mom broke down in tears saying my son never done anything wrong they lied ETC. I was pissed I told them to leave, your upsetting my mom. That was over 10 years ago they never came back!

Just learned something new today! Looking at the picture of the men in front of the house on fire. I always thought the man was pulling his own tie, but if you look close he has a stick! I looked at that picture for the first time almost 50 years ago.

Crisis of Conscience stolen from my local library
by neverendingjourney ini finished reading combating cult mind control a few days ago.
i went to the local library to try to get a copy of crisis of conscience.
i had the librarian search for it, and it's not available in any of the municipal library's branches (i live in a fairly large city).

Did you know that NYC can't function without Bethel's Clock?

That is probably a urban legend (BS). When I was in borg there was another clock story. This story was when they decided to turn off the clock, people phoned in to complain. Then they got the bright idea to turn the clock back on and then add a reader board sign. This sign had cute messages like " Read the Watchtower and Awake-----God's kingdom is near---------Read the bible daily----------Give us money!-------ETC
